The mango tree (var. Maranhão) is a fruit of great relevance in regions with semiarid climate. However, knowledge about the effect of salinity on seedling growth is still incipient. The seedling formation phase is of great importance for the establishment of vigorous plants in the field. Therefore, the research was conducted with the objective of evaluating the mango (var. Maranhão) seedlings irrigated with different saline levels in substrate with and without bovine biofertilizer. The experiment was installed in the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba, Campus Picuí, in a randomized block design with four replications, in a 6 x 2 factorial arrangement, corresponding to six levels of electrical conductivity of irrigation water (0,5; 2,0; 3,5; 5,0; 6,5 and 8,0 dS m-1), on substrates without and with bovine biofertilizer. The substrate was obtained from a mixture of soil and part of bovine manure in a 2: 1 ratio. The bovine biofertilizer was obtained, 30 days before sowing, from the aerobic fermentation of fresh manure. The dry mass of the leaf was affected as a consequence of the increase of the salinity in the soil solution and, consequently, the decrease of the availability and the absorption of water. However, in the treatments with bovine biofertilizer, the leaf dry mass was significantly higher in relation to the soil without the organic input. It was verified that the differences between the values of the plants cultivated in substrates with biofertilizer surpassed those of plants cultivated in substrates without biofertilizer. It is concluded that the increase in saline levels of water used for irrigation impairs the growth of mango trees (var. Maranhão), mainly after 3,5 dS m -1 of electrical conductivity and that the use of the bovine liquid biofertilizer promotes the formation of seedlings of better quality, with higher growth and accumulation of dry mass.

Durante los últimos años se ha observado un cambio progresivo de las condiciones climáticas en el mundo, que ha tenido como consecuencia aumentos de la frecuencia y severidad de fenómenos, como inundaciones y sequías. Por lo anterior, es necesario contar con herramientas que permitan tomar decisiones de manera informada. Una forma de evaluar el efecto de un cambio en las precipitaciones y temperaturas respecto de la disponibilidad de agua de una cuenca es utilizar un modelo hidrológico distribuido, el cual, una vez calibrado y validado, es perturbado con cambios (% variación precipitación y Δ de cambio en la temperatura) obtenidos de distintos escenarios climáticos futuros. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en cuantificar, a partir de simulaciones realizadas mediante un modelo matemático, la sensibilidad de la hidrología de dos subcuencas del río Biobío frente a un amplio set de plausibles escenarios de cambio climático. Además se analiza la amplitud en la respuesta del modelo hidrológico obtenido a partir de los distintos escenarios derivados directamente de diferentes modelos de circulación global (MCG), evaluándose también el impacto de usar variaciones de precipitación y temperatura obtenidas de un modelo de circulación Regional (MCR). Los resultados indican que, para la mayor parte de los escenarios de cambio climático modelados, se producirá una reducción en la magnitud de los caudales medios mensuales y anuales, siendo esta variación mayor en las épocas de primavera y verano. Estos resultados permiten realizar una primera interpretación cualitativa de los potenciales impactos del cambio climático en la disponibilidad de los recursos hídricos en la cuenca del río Biobío.

En el Laboratorio de Análisis de Alimentos de la Universidad de Córdoba (Colombia) se realizó la caracterización fisicoquímica y fisiológica del proceso de maduración del plátano Hartón (Musa AAB Simmonds) cultivado en los sistemas de producción orgánico y convencional. Para el estudio se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con arreglo factorial 2 x 5: dos sistemas de producción y cinco estados de maduración. Los análisis realizados fueron físicos: resistencia, días de maduración; químicos: pH, °Brix, azúcares totales y reductores y almidón; y fisiológicos: tasa de respiración a temperatura ambiente. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que entre los tratamientos (orgánico y convencional) durante el proceso de maduración se observaron diferencias significativas en las variables resistencia, °Brix, pH, acidez; por el contrario las variables azúcares reductores, azúcares totales y almidón tuvieron un comportamiento similar. El índice de respiración en plátano orgánico alcanzó el pico climatérico a los 14 días, y el convencional a los 7, indicando que el primero presenta un mejor comportamiento poscosecha facilitando su comercialización.The physical-chemist and physiologic portrayal in the Harton plantain ripening process (Musa AAB Simmonds) in the system of organic production and conventional in the Cordoba - Colombia department, was carried out in the food analysis laboratory of the University of Cordoba, in order to establish the differences physical-chemist and physiologic between the system production already mentioned. To reach the objective was used a design completely at random with factorial repair two per five, with two factors that were the production system and the state of ripening. The analysis carried out were physics (resistance, ripening days); chemist (pH, °Brix, total and reduction sugar, starch) and physiologic (respiration rate to environmental temperature). The results obtained show that between the treatments (organic and conventional) during the ripening process, were observed signifi cant differences in the variables resistance, °Brix, pH, acidity; on the contrary in the variables reduction sugar, total sugar, starch they were a similar behave. The respiration index in organic plantain reached the high climacteric to 14 days and the conventional to 7; indicating that organic present a better behave postharvest facilitating its commercialization.

Los sistemas de producción orgánico y/o ecológico tienen como objetivo garantizar la sostenibilidad y la renovación de base natural, mediante la limitación del uso de productos de síntesis química para favorecer el ambiente y la salud humana. Teniendo en cuenta estas características, se estudió el efecto de los sistemas de producción orgánico y convencional sobre el contenido de nutrientes minerales del fruto del plátano Hartón (Musa AAB Simmonds), durante el proceso de maduración. Las determinaciones se realizaron en la Universidad de Córdoba (Montería, Colombia) con el fin de establecer las diferencias en el contenido de minerales en los frutos en ambos sistemas y en diferentes estados de maduración. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con arreglo factorial 2 x 5 y cinco repeticiones. Los factores fueron: sistema de producción y estado de maduración; los cinco niveles del segundo factor correspondieron a los grados de maduración: verde-oscuro (V), verde-claro (VC), amarillo-verde (AV), amarillo (A) y muy amarillo (MA). Los resultados obtenidos muestran que entre ambos sistemas de producción y en distintos grados de maduración, se presentan diferencias significativas (P < 0.05) en los contenidos de calcio, magnesio, potasio, sodio, hierro y zinc.

Los resultados obtenidos muestran que entre ambos sistemas de producción y en distintos grados de maduración, se presentan diferencias significativas (P < 0.05) en los contenidos de calcio, magnesio, potasio, sodio, hierro y zinc.Organic production systems and/or ecological aim to ensure the sustainability and renewal of natural base by limiting chemical synthesis products favoring the environment and human health due to these benefits, we studied the effect of systems organic and conventional production on mineral nutrient content of the fruit of plantain (Musa AAB Simmonds) during the ripening process. Measurements were performed at the University of Córdoba (Montería, Colombia) in order to differentiate between the two systems, in varying states of maturity. A complete randomized design with 2 x 5 factorial arrangements with five replications was used. The factors were: production system and state of maturity, the five levels of the second factor corresponded to the following levels of maturity: dark green (V), green (VC), yellow-green (AV), yellow (A) and very yellow (MA). The results showed that the two production systems in different degrees of maturity had significant differences in Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Iron and Zinc contents.

En el trabajo se evalúo el efecto de la aplicación de tres géneros nativos de micorrizas vesículo arbusculares sobre el crecimiento de plantas de plátano Hartón (Musa AAB Simmonds) en etapa de vivero. Las cepas se obtuvieron de la colección del Laboratorio de Fitopatología de la Universidad de Córdoba, las cuales fueron aisladas de cultivos de plátano en los municipios de Lorica, Los Córdobas y San Bernardo del Viento. Se utilizó el diseño experimental completamente al azar, con seis tratamientos (T): Glomus sp. (T1), Acaullospora sp. (T2), Scutellospora sp. (T3), una combinación de los géneros Glomus, Acaullospora y Scutellospora (T4), un tratamiento químico de fosfato diamónico, DAP (T5) y un control absoluto (T6), con diez repeticiones por tratamiento. Los resultados mostraron que con la combinación de géneros de micorrizas (T4) se obtuvo un mayor número de esporas y un porcentaje más alto de infección, seguido de los tratamientos T1, T3 y T2. Además, con esta combinación se encontraron diferencias significativas en diámetro del pseudotallo, relación de área foliar:peso fresco y seco de raíz, en comparación con los demás tratamientos. El área foliar y la longitud de raíz fueron más altos en el tratamiento T5.

This article studies the use of Heideggerian concept of «Sorge» for a philosophy of ecology. First, analyze the translations of «Sorge» in Spanish language. A critical analysis chooses the concept of «cura». Second, present the meaning of «cura» in Heidegger. Third, show the possibilities of the concept «cura» for an ecological reflection: an interpretation of the work of Hans Jonas, The Imperative of Responsibility, is made here as an ecological derivation of the Heideggerian «cura». In this way, «Dasein» is affirmed as a place of connection between man and nature.

La planificación en base a la evaluación de tierras es el proceso de determinación y predicción del comportamiento de una porción de tierra usada para fines específicos, considerando aspectos físicos, económicos y sociales. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue determinar la aptitud de uso del suelo, en base a las limitaciones y potencialidades edafo-climáticas para el cultivo de cacao. El área de proyecto fue la región de Tumupasa, en el municipio de San Buenaventura, segunda sección de la provincia Abel Iturralde al norte del departamento de La Paz, tomando como referencia los datos obtenidos por Miranda et.al. (2020) sobre el análisis físico-químico de suelos. El procedimiento para realizar la investigación fue: a) sistematización de información secundaria y primaria, b) elaboración de la metodología y parámetros de evaluación de los suelos en base lo sistematizado, c) diseño e interpretación de resultados en mapas y e) socialización de los resultados a las autoridades del lugar y organizaciones sociales. De acuerdo a los datos obtenidos, la zona presenta áreas moderadamente aptas, aptas y en menor proporción no aptas para el cultivo, evidenciado principalmente en la limitación nutricional que presenta los suelos en el nitrógeno, materia orgánica y capacidad de intercambio catiónico. Sin embargo, haciendo un análisis de las características agronómicas del cultivo de cacao, estas limitaciones son oportunidades para el uso de otro tipo de tecnologías para la producción, una de las cuales son los sistemas agroforestales, que aportan de gran manera el nutriente limitante (nitrógeno), con el aporte de biomasa de las especies acompañantes, sin que esto incida en el gasto significativo de presupuesto para los productores.

El objetivo fue caracterizar los sistemas de producción de cuyes. Se llevó a cabo una encuesta de abril a julio de 2019 a 187 familias criadoras de cuyes en el distrito de San Andrés de Tupicocha - Huarochirí, Lima - Perú. Los datos obtenidos fueron procesados con el programa IBM SPSS Statistics v.23, realizando un análisis estadístico descriptivo. La actividad cuyícola está ampliamente distribuida y realizada sobre todo en lugares alejados de la ciudad, esta especie tiene una importancia como fuente de ingresos mediatos y de seguridad alimentaria. Este estudio describe la variable agrícola y animal; en este último la población, alimentación, instalaciones, sanidad, manejo, comercialización y factores limitantes en la crianza de cuyes que tiene esta zona. Los resultados mostraron que tienen un sistema crianza semicomercial (62.5 %) y una alimentación a base de forraje (91.2 %), sin embargo, no tienen un manejo técnico adecuado, La crianza se realiza en un solo grupo sin distinción de clase, sexo y edad; en cocinas - cuartos (78.4 %). Se encontró 61.5 cuyes en promedio por familia, y productores que tienen por encima de 500 cuyes (2.1 %). Las principales enfermedades reportadas fueron ectoparásitos (48.4 %), neumonía (38.6 %) y salmonelosis (24.6 %). Las instalaciones de crianza son cocinas y cuartos (78.4 %) mientras que los que crían en galpones son a base de adobe y materiales de la zona. El 94.7 % de los encuestados declararon problemas de enfermedades, asistencia técnica, mejoramiento genético, instalaciones y pastos, en ese orden de prioridad. Esto conlleva a un bajo nivel tecnológico y de índices productivos, recomendándose asistencia técnica y promover mecanismo de asociatividad para la inversión, además de sistemas de extensión para su desarrollo, con el fin de mejorar su crianza.

El presente estudio explora la incursión de grupos criminales dedicados al narcotráfico en las áreas naturales protegidas (ANP) de México, enfocándose en las implicaciones sociales, económicas y ambientales de la presencia de estos grupos dentro de estas áreas para los esfuerzos de conservación, lo cual permite incluir la dimensión ambiental del desarrollo sustentable en el paradigma de la seguridad pública. Metodológicamente, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a servidores públicos de las ANP a nivel nacional, abordando de manera diacrónica el período de guerra contra el narcotráfico, encontrando que las ANP siempre han figurado, en este escenario, como territorios de siembra y movilización de droga y como terrenos estratégicos de dominio, lo que ubica al medio ambiente y a las personas dentro y cerca de las ANP en situaciones de inseguridad.
