                <text>O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o vigor e a produtividade do maracujazeiro-amarelo plantado em diferentes tamanhos de cova e plantio direto sob manejo orgânico. O experimento foi conduzido de 2005 a 2007, no Setor de Agricultura Ecológica da Universidade Federal do Acre, em delineamento de blocos casualizados, constituídos de cinco tratamentos, quatro repetições e quatro plantas por parcela. Foram avaliados cinco tipos de preparo do solo: T1 cova do tamanho do torrão (0,19 x 0,063m) com adubação em cobertura; T2 cova de 0,30 x 0,30 x 0,30m com adubação de plantio na cova; T3 cova de 0,30 x 0,30 x 0,30m com adubação de plantio em cobertura; T4 cova de 0,50 x 0,50 x 0,50m com adubação de plantio na cova; e T5 cova de 0,50 x 0,50 x 0,50m com adubação de plantio em cobertura. O tamanho da cova e o plantio direto não influenciaram o vigor da planta e a biomassa de raízes. O número de frutos por planta e a produtividade, na segunda e na somatória das duas safras, foram maiores com plantio direto e com covas cúbicas de 0,30m. Após dois anos de cultivo, a densidade do solo foi maior na camada de 0-5cm de profundidade num raio de 20cm da planta para o plantio em covas de 0,50m com adubação na cova e menor para o plantio direto, não havendo diferença entre os demais tratamentos. O plantio direto ou o plantio em covas pequenas com dimensões de 0,30 x 0,30 x 0,30m proporcionou maior produtividade de maracujá que o plantio em covas maiores, mesmo não influenciando o vigor das plantas e a massa seca de raízes.The objective of this research was to evaluate the yield and vigor of the yellow passion fruit tree planted in hole and no-tillage under organic system. The experiment was carried under experimental design in randomized blocks with five treatments and four replicates with four plants per plot. Five types of soil tillage: T1- hole of the size of the clod (0.19 x 0.063m) with manuring in covering; T2- hole of 0.30 x 0.30 x 0.30m with manuring addition in the hole; T3 - similar the T2, with manuring in covering; T4 - hole of 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.50m with manuring addition in the hole; and T5 - similar the T4, with manuring in covering were evaluated. The hole size and the no-tillage did not influence the vigor of the plant and root biomass. The number of fruits per plant and the yield in the second crop and in the total of the two crops were larger with holes of 0.30m and no-tillage. After 2 years of planting, the soil bulk density was larger in the depth of 0-5 cm to 20cm of the plant for the planting in holes of 0.50m with manuring addition and smaller for the no-tillage, there was no difference among the other treatments. The no-tillage or traditional system with holes of 0.30 x 0.30 x 0.30m, provided larger passion fruit yield than the traditional systems with holes of 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.50m, not having an influence in the vigor of the plant and the dry mass of roots.</text>

                <text>O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar o desempenho produtivo, adaptabilidade e estabilidade fenotípica de seis genótipos de tomateiro na região de Marília, SP. Os experimentos foram conduzidos em nove ambientes (seis sob condições de cultivo protegido e três sob condições de céu aberto), com seis genótipos (Carmen, Diva, Donador, Graziela, Vita e HE-295), em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições. Ocorreram diferenças significativas entre ambientes, e a média geral dos cultivos protegidos superou a dos cultivos a céu aberto quanto à produtividade, apesar de a média geral dos cultivos a céu aberto ser superior quanto ao peso médio de frutos. As cultivares, à exceção de HE-295, demonstraram alta estabilidade, merecendo destaque as cultivares Carmen, Donador e Vita, que tiveram rendimento médio superior ao da média geral, adaptabilidade geral e comportamento previsível em todos os ambientes estudados. Quanto ao peso médio dos frutos, as cultivares Diva e Vita foram as únicas que mostraram ampla adaptabilidade a todos os ambientes, comportamento previsível, além de apresentarem peso médio do fruto superior ao da média geral.The objective of this work was to evaluate productivity, adaptability and phenotypic stability of six tomato genotypes in Marília, SP, Brazil. The experiments were carried out at nine environments (six of them under conditions of protected cultivation and three under open air conditions), with six genotypes (Carmen, Diva, Donador, Graziela, Vita and HE-295), in a randomized block design, with four replications. There were significant differences among environments, independent of cultivation system. General average of protected cultivations overcame free cultivations considering yield, although the general average of free cultivations was overcame for mean fruit weights. All genotypes, except 'HE-295', showed high stability, with prominence for cultivars Carmen, Donador and Vita, which showed higher mean yield, and general adaptability and stability in all environments studied. For mean fruit weights, cultivars Diva and Vita were the only ones that showed wide adaptability for both environments and highly predictable behavior, with mean fruit weights superior to general average.</text>

                <text>A produtividade e a qualidade do milho podem ser influenciadas pela ocorrência de doenças, cuja intensidade pode ser afetada por fatores ambientais e por práticas fitotécnicas. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito do arranjo de plantas de milho e da densidade de semeadura no rendimento de grãos e na massa de mil grãos, bem como na incidência de podridões da base do colmo, grãos ardidos e de fungos associados aos grãos. O estudo foi realizado nas safras 2010/2011 e 2012/2013, em Chapecó, SC, Brasil. Os tratamentos foram constituídos por diferentes espaçamentos entre linhas (0,45 e 0,80 m) e densidades de plantas (50, 60, 70, 80 e 90 mil plantas ha-1), com delineamento de blocos casualizados em esquema de parcelas sub-subdivididas. Na parcela principal foram testados dois híbridos simples de milho de ciclo precoce (P30F53H e DKB 240H), nas subparcelas os espaçamentos e nas sub-subparcelas as populações de plantas. As unidades experimentais consistiram de seis linhas de 4 m de comprimento. O rendimento de grãos no espaçamento 0,45 m foi 29,65% superior ao obtido no espaçamento 0,80 m para os híbridos estudados. A massa de mil grãos e a incidência de grãos ardidos reduziram com o aumento da população de plantas. No entanto, a incidência de Fusarium verticillioides, Fusarium graminearum e Stenocarpella maydis não foi influenciada pelas populações de plantas nem pelos espaçamentos testados nas condições do presente estudo.</text>

                <text>O rendimento, a sanidade e a qualidade de bulbos de cebola (Allium cepa L.) são influenciados pela nutrição das plantas, principalmente pelo nitrogênio (N), que além de ser requerido em grandes quantidades, é facilmente lixiviado do solo. O experimento teve por objetivo comparar o sistema manejo de adubação e fitossanitário convencional ao uso de métodos alternativos na produtividade, incidência de tripes e conservação de bulbos de cebola em pós-colheita. Com este propósito foi conduzido um experimento de campo, na safra 2010, num Cambissolo Háplico, em Ituporanga, SC. Foram estabelecidos quatro tratamentos: sistema de cultivo convencional (adubação mineral e agrotóxicos); adubação orgânica e fertirrigação de biofertilizante líquido (BF) a base de esterco de peru; adubação orgânica e fertirrigação com BF a base de esterco bovino (EB); e adubação orgânica e pulverização de BF a base de EB a 3%. Utilizou-se a cultivar Epagri 352 Bola Precoce. A semeadura, transplante e colheita foram realizados em 03/05, 12/07 e 06/12/2010, respectivamente. Conclui-se que independente do manejo adotado (orgânico ou convencional) não houve a redução dos danos causados por tripes; o uso de biofertilizantes não aumentou as perdas em pós-colheita; no sistema orgânico (adubação orgânica com o uso parcelado de biofertilizantes) houve a redução em 43% da produtividade em relação ao convencional.</text>

                <text>A manutenção e/ou a ampliação da terra compõem o eixo central em torno do qual os produtores familiares organizam sua vida e seu trabalho. Este artigo analisa as estratégias desses produtores em relação à divisão de herança e à sucessão, e as formas que utilizam para aquisição de novas áreas. O levantamento das características das famílias e da propriedade foi realizado por meio de um questionário aplicado junto a 89 produtores familiares de três municípios da mesorregião de São José do Rio Preto (SP). Posteriormente foi entrevistado um terço dos produtores de cada município que havia respondido ao questionário. A análise das estratégias fundiárias mostrou uma grande diversidade na forma de partilhar a herança e de conduzir a sucessão, sendo que ambos os processos são apoiados, basicamente, em regras tradicionais, embora mantenham uma fachada de adequação às normas legais. Quanto às estratégias de aquisição de mais terras, observou-se que os produtores são capazes de organizar complexas formas de capitalização, centradas em maiores esforços no trabalho e na contenção de gastos, além da utilização de políticas públicas favoráveis e de práticas costumeiras. Os arranjos intra-familiares e as formas de cooperação ligadas ao parentesco mais amplo também se mostraram importantes para a ampliação da propriedade.The maintenance and/or expansion of land form the central axle along which family farming organize their livelihood and work.. This paper analyzes these producers' strategies that are related to division of inheritance and succession, and the forms of acquisition of new areas. The survey on the characteristics of families and property was carried out by a questionnaire in 89 familiar producers of three cities of São José do Rio Preto (SP) region. Next, one third of those answering the questionnaire were interviewed in the same cities. The analysis of agrarian strategies showed a great diversity in the manner of inheritance sharing and conducting succession; although being basically supported in both processes by traditional rules they seem to follow the legal the legal rules. Regarding to acquisition strategies of more land, it was noticed that producers are able to organize complex forms of capitalization, which are centralized in bigger efforts at work and containment of expenses, besides the use of favorable public policies and customary practices. The intra-familiar arrangements and the forms of kinship cooperation also appeared as equally important to the property expansion.</text>

Após 371 dias, os tambaquis apresentaram crescimento de 18,6±4,5 g para 997,1±195,08 g no Viveiro A e de 81,4±18,8 g para 519,9±191,7 g no Viveiro B. O manejo alimentar do Viveiro A pode ser uma alternativa sustentável de produção de tambaqui em substituição às rações comerciais.The objective of this paper was to evaluate the performance of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum) in a polyculture trial with jaraqui (Semaprochilodus insignis), using agricultural and forest products as supplementary feeding for tambaqui. Two ponds, measuring 644 m² (Pond A, associated with pigs) and 1,075 m² (Pond B, non associated), were stocked with 0.5 tambaqui/m² and 0.1 jaraqui/m². After 371 days, tambaqui showed a mean growth from 18.6±4.5 g to 997.1±195.08 g in Pond A, and from 81.4±18.8 g to 519.9±191.7 g in Pond B. Feeding management of Pond A may be a sustainable alternative of tambaqui production in substitution to commercial rations.</text>

                <text>Consideramos que somos o que comemos se necessário realizarmos uma seleção na busca da qualidade dos nossos alimentos. Entendemos que se priorizarmos o consumo de alimentos Orgânicos estaremos cuidando da nossa saúde física. Agricultura orgânica, ecológica, sustentável ou agroecológico são algumas das denominações para os sistemas agrícolas e alternativos. A agricultura alternativa busca evitar a ocorrência de impactos ambientais e sociais, com os resíduos de agrotóxico encontrados nos alimentos devido aos atuais sistemas agrícolas tradicionais modernos de produção. As práticas de produção agrícolas alternativas, ao contrário, procuram estabelecer uma relação de harmonia com a natureza. Para tanto, essa agricultura substitui o uso de adubos químicos tóxicos pela de origem orgânica (esterco, palhas forragens, restos de vegetais) e utilizam o controle biológico, que consiste em usar predadores naturais (fungos, larvas, vespas, besouros para controlar as doenças em pequenas e medias propriedades rurais que promovem a policultura cultivo de vários gêneros agrícolas) como forma de promover a biodiversidade necessária para manter o equilíbrio natural.</text>

                <text>ResumoEste artigo analisa os processos de ensino e aprendizagem em dois contextos sociais diversos vivenciados por famílias agricultoras, no Paraná, e por famílias indígenas galibi-marworno, no Amapá. Embora a educação escolar seja valorizada pelas famílias e ocupe um tempo e investimento considerável das crianças, esses contextos são aqui considerados “não escolarizados” porque a escola não constitui uma fonte hegemônica de conhecimento para essas crianças, que também aprendem através de outras situações vivenciadas por elas, especialmente através da participação nas atividades produtivas familiares. Ao reconhecer alguns aspectos comuns dos processos de aprendizagem nesses dois contextos, como a centralidade da experiência e da corporalidade, a atenção aos esforços de imitação, a ênfase na iniciativa dos aprendizes e a atribuição progressiva de responsabilidades, o artigo procura contribuir para os debates antropológicos contemporâneos sobre cognição e aprendizagem.</text>

                <text>Este artículo analiza las posibilidades y límites de la profesionalización agraria en España desde el punto de vista de las opiniones y actitudes de los agricultores que tienen la agricultura como actividad principal. El artículo permite identificar un núcleo de agricultores más bien jóvenes, con explotaciones medio-grandes y de orientación preferentemente hortofrutícola, que se autoidentifican como profesionales o empresarios y que presentan un relativo cumplimiento del ideal profesional. Se trata, sin embargo, de un proceso incipiente que tropieza con todo tipo de limitaciones, no solo actitudinales, sino también institucionales, relativas, por un lado, a la propia naturaleza de la agricultura familiar y, por otro, a la ausencia de un marco político-institucional adecuado.</text>
