The present work employs artificial neural network-based curve fitting techniques in prediction and forecasting of the Covid-19 number of rising cases and death cases in India, USA, France, and UK, considering the progressive trends of China and South Korea. In this paper, three cases are considered to analyze the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic viz., (i) forecasting as per the present trend of rising cases of different countries (ii) forecasting of one week following up with the improvement trends as per China and South Korea, and (iii) forecasting if followed up the progressive trends as per China and South Korea before a week. The results have shown that ANN can efficiently forecast the future cases of COVID 19 outbreak of any country. The study shows that the confirmed cases of India, USA, France and UK could be about 50,000 to 1,60,000, 12,00,000 to 17,00,000, 1,40,000 to 1,50,000 and 2,40,000 to 2,50,000 respectively and may take about 2 to 10 months based on progressive trends of China and South Korea.  Similarly, the death toll for these countries just before controlling could be about 1600 to 4000 for India, 1,35,000 to 1,00,000 for USA, 40,000 to 55,000 for France, 35,000 to 47,000 for UK during the same period of study. A connection is made between the exposure dose and the probability of developing an airborne disease. It is thought that the distress and uncertainty of pandemic clubbed with information overload and its ambiguity have paved the way for cyberchondria. Students being the vulnerable population, the present study was an effort at understanding cyberchondria in students. Aim: The aim of the study is to assess cyberchondria and its association with depression, anxiety, stress, and quality of life (QOL) in dental students during the pandemic. Materials and Methods: An online questionnaire-based survey was carried out on dental students. The survey tool comprised a semi-structured pro forma, General Health Questionnaire-12, Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 21, Cyberchondria Severity Scale 15, and European Health Interview Survey QOL 8. Results: The study revealed that 98.7% of the students were affected by one of the constructs of cyberchondria, viz., “excessiveness” (93.7%), followed by “distress” (84.3%) and “reassurance”-seeking behavior (83.7%). Cyberchondria affected girls more than boys and shared robust positive correlation with depression, anxiety, and stress but not QOL. Factors such as stress, anxiety, QOL, and changes in appetite were associated with higher severity of depression. Family financial losses, preexisting psychiatric illness, and media adverse effect shared robust positive associations with severity of depression, anxiety, and stress and an inverse association with QOL. 76.0% of the students expressed excessive worries regarding missing out on clinical exposure, and nearly half of the students were dissatisfied with eLearning. 78.3% of the students experienced changes in sleep; 68.7% had changes in appetite; and 89.0% reported reduction in the level of physical activity. Conclusion: Cyberchondria is affecting the large majority of students. Educational institutions must put efforts to sensitize students about cyberchondria. The qualitative and quantitative aspects depend on the lifestyle and standard of living of citizens. Hence a change in habits, following an economic or health crisis, can influence the production of waste and its composition. The objective of the present work is to assess the impact of lockdown on the generation of trash and on the habits related to the consumption of goods in two communes in Morocco. More specifically, this study would investigate the behavior of citizens with regard to protective equipment against the coronavirus COVID-19. The results of the survey show that there is an influence of lockdown on the items purchased during this period, with an increase in the purchase of disinfectant products and a decrease in the consumption of meat and canned goods. Thus, the results showed that the quantity of organic fractions had decreased in the domestic waste with the appearance of other fractions such as residues of cleaning products. In addition, the survey conducted showed that 87% of respondents mix coronavirus protective equipment with household waste, which may contribute to the spread of the virus. Concerning the quantitative aspect, the weigh-ups showed that the monthly rate of increase of waste production between the months of February and March 2019 and the corresponding period in 2020 have decreased from +11.41% to +3.8%  in the city of Khenifra (from 2,572 ton in Mars 2019 to  2,456 ton in the correspondent period in 2020) and from +4.73% to -1.23% in the center of Tighassaline (from 136 ton in Mars 2019 to 123 ton in the correspondent period in 2020). However, research works are needed to make this technique more efficient and cheaper. Objective: Evaluate the nutritional quality of handmade enteral diets used in a charity hospital in the Jequitinhonha Valley, Brazil, and propose qualitative and quantitative adjustments, when necessary, and compare the data available in tables of chemical composition of foods with the data achieved by laboratory analyses. Materials and methods: The study was carried out in partnership with a charity organization of the region and the Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, where the collection of the handmade enteral diets was performed. The analyses of the physical-chemical and centesimal composition of 36 samples of diets were carried out in the laboratories of the university. Results: It was observed that the daily energy offer of the diets was below the recommended standards and presented a percentage distribution different from that estimated for patients receiving ENT. Besides, it can be seen that the nutrient values of the data achieved in laboratory do not agree with those available in tables of food chemical composition. Conclusions: Significant losses of nutrients were verified during the processing and preparation of handmade enteral diets. It challenges nutritionists to standardize these diets and corroborates the relevance of new studies to determine the nutritional content of handmade enteral diets, since these diets have been widely used in poor regions of Brazil and in other countries.La terapia de nutrición enteral (TNE) se ha utilizado ampliamente en la asistencia hospitalaria y domiciliaria. Sin embargo, se necesitan trabajos de investigación para hacer que esta técnica sea más eficiente y barata. Objetivo: Evaluar la calidad nutricional de dietas enterales elaboradas de forma casera en un hospital de caridad del valle de Jequitinhonha, Brasil, y proponer ajustes cualitativos y cuantitativos, cuando sean necesarios, y comparar los datos disponibles en las tablas de la composición química de los alimentos con los datos obtenidos en los análisis de laboratorio. Materiales y métodos: El estudio se realizó en colaboración con la organización de caridad de la región y la Universidad Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, donde se realizó la recogida de las ditas enterales caseras. Los análisis de la composición fisicoquímica y centesimal de las 36 muestras de las dietas se realizaron en los laboratorios de la universidad. Resultados: Se observó que la oferta energética diaria de las dietas estaba por debajo de las recomendaciones estándar y presentaba un porcentaje de distribución diferente de la estimada para pacientes que reciben TNE. Además, se pudo ver que los valores nutricionales de los datos obtenidos en el laboratorio no concordaban con los disponibles en las tablas de composición química de los alimentos.
