Os resultados apontam para o potencial das agroindústrias familiares na construção de trajetórias mais autônomas de desenvolvimento rural, demonstrando que os agricultores são hábeis para articular múltiplas atividades e ativos que lhes permitem fazer frente a contextos de crescente vulnerabilidade econômica e social. Todavia, os resultados também revelam que empreendimentos familiares de maior porte podem estar desenvolvendo um efeito coibente à diversificação dos meios de vida e, em alguma medida, à construção de autonomia.
