              <text>En este trabajo, siguiendo aportes de Van Dijk (1994), Fairclough y Wodak (1997) y Pardo (2012), se realiza un análisis crítico del discurso del tercer capítulo de la encíclica papal referido a la ciencia, la tecnología, el poder, la globalización del paradigma tecnocrático y las consecuencias del antropocentrismo. La ambigüedad de valorar críticamente la ciencia y la tecnología, sin asumir a ambas como partes constitutivas de la crisis ecológica, manteniendo una idea de naturaleza a ser dominada y transformada, permitiría potencialmente que este discurso sea usado por distintos actores y grupos sociales para reivindicar sus respectivas ideologías y agendas políticas.</text>
