Se realizó un estudio para comprobar el efecto de varias mezclas de abonos organominerales sobre el cultivo del maíz en un suelo Pardo sialítico mullido no carbonatado. Se utilizaron cinco diferentes mezclas utilizando como abonos orgánicos el estiércol vacuno composteado; cachaza y como portadores minerales urea, superfosfato triple y cloruro de potasio. Además se tomaron muestras de suelo con el objetivo de medir el efecto que produce la utilización de este abono sobre las principales propiedades del mismo. Se obtuvo que la fertilización organomineral favorece la producción de maíz, manteniendo el rendimiento y la calidad del fruto con respecto a la fertilización mineral tradicional; de igual forma no deteriora las condiciones del suelo para el mejor desarrollo del cultivo.
