Se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques al azar con cuatro tratamientos y tres réplicas respectivamente, con diferentes sustratos orgánicos: Tratamiento uno (control o testigo) (T1), 100% del suelo (sin fertilizantes orgánicos); tratamiento dos (T2), 50% de tierra y 50% de estiércol bovino (EB); tratamiento tres (T3), 50% de tierra y 50% de estiércol caprino (CE); tratamiento cuatro (T4), 50% de tierra, 25% de estiércol bovino (EB) y 25% de estiércol de cabra (CE). El tratamiento tres con la utilización del estiércol caprino demostró mayor desarrollo, crecimiento y rendimiento del cultivo que conllevó el cuidado del medioambiente y de la salud humana.
