En cuanto al método utilizado, es investigación documental realizando una revisión sistemática cualitativa de documentos publicados en la última década con el propósito de establecer relaciones, diferencias, etapas, posiciones o estado actual del conocimiento respecto al tema objeto de estudio en algunos países de América Latina.Se cierra concluyendo que la Educación Superior, es clave en el desarrollo sustentable para América Latina.
