Cellular components of the adaptive immune response are viewed as important in initiating formation of demyelinating lesions in MS patients. This notion is supported by preclinical animal models, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), as well as approved disease modifying therapies (DMTs) that suppress clinical relapse and are designed to impede infiltration of activated lymphocytes into the CNS. Nonetheless, emerging evidence demonstrates that the innate immune response e.g., neutrophils can amplify white matter damage through a variety of different mechanisms. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la adopción de innovaciones en la cadena agave-mezcal. Se seleccionaron 41 palenques (agroindustrias) ubicados en tres municipios de Oaxaca. Se calculó la adopción y velocidad, se estimó la relación beneficio-costo de la actividad productiva. Para estimar la relación entre innovación y rentabilidad se realizó un análisis de conglomerados. Los mayores índices de innovación están relacionados a la producción y conservación de los recursos naturales (75%); el segundo estrato presentó un índice de innovación de 75%; el primer estrato registró una baja adopción. Dos componentes explican el 70% de la variabilidad (Kaiser, Meyer y Olkin, KMO: 0.74). En el componente 1 (53.6%) las innovaciones de mayor peso son: proveeduría, proceso, mercado, valoración de recursos naturales, administración y utilidad; en el componente 2 (16.8%) el volumen procesado y el rendimiento son las de mayor contribución. Los palenques con producción ancestral y mayor innovación presentan mayor rentabilidad.
