They are typical European confections prepared from almonds, honey, sugars and/or chocolate. Three different instrumental tests: puncture, cutting, and Texture Profile Analysis (TPA), were used in this study and samples prepared from three countries (Spain, Italy, and France), and by six manufacturing companies (two companies per each country). All three tests succeed in finding that Spanish Jijona turrón was softer than chocolate torrone, with nougat presenting intermediate values of hardness. The TPA test proved that nougat was intended to be chewable, which implied high values of cohesiveness, springiness, chewiness, and adhesiveness, while on the contrary turrón and torrone were conceived as been breakable and non-adhesive products. These differences in texture attributes were rather due to differences in the manufacturing conditions (e.g. heating time and/or temperature) than to composition factors (e.g. almond content). Results proved that manufacturing conditions (time, temperature) were more important than percentages of ingredients in determining the texture of turrón, torrone and nougat. A abordagem metodológica utilizada foi quali-quantitativa, com levantamento de dados a partir de formulários semiestruturados que foram aplicados a uma amostra de 19 agricultores familiares previamente selecionados dentro da área de estudo. A análise dos dados coletados foi realizada por meio de estatística descritiva, com auxílio do programa SPSS versão 20.0., e permitiu apontar, neste estudo de caso, dificuldades na adequação do cultivo do dendê ao modelo de mão- de-obra familiar, bem como uma pequena participação da atividade na geração de renda das famílias. Além disso, foram identificadas situações que comprometem a saúde humana e o meio ambiente, a exemplo da disposição final inadequada de resíduos sólidos perigosos, provenientes das embalagens vazias e laváveis de agrotóxicos. Como benefícios dessa integração, constatou-se o aumento na assistência técnica e capacitação dos agricultores. Como resultados do estudo, verificou-se a necessidade de políticas que ofereçam aos agricultores alternativas econômicas ao dendê, e que sejam também capazes de promover o desenvolvimento socioambiental das comunidades envolvidas. Por fim, ressalta-se que apesar da perspectiva econômica da dendeicultura, ainda se faz necessário avaliar as condições estruturais nas quais os agricultores familiares se encontram sob a ótica da sustentabilidade e inclusão social, especialmente na região Amazônica. Vitória de Santo Antão, município localizado próximo à Região Metropolitana de Recife, neste contexto requereu imprescindivelmente uma atuação da vigilância epidemiológica para elaborar ações e estratégias de contingência nesse cenário sanitário pandêmico. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência dos residentes sanitaristas na atuação no setor da vigilância epidemiológica durante o enfrentamento da pandemia de COVID-19. Método: Relato de experiência realizado pelos residentes sanitaristas do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional de Interiorização de Atenção à Saúde para fortalecimento da vigilância epidemiológica no enfrentamento da pandemia no município de Vitória de Santo Antão. Resultados: Foram criados dois formulários via Google Forms com o objetivo de registrar e acompanhar os casos de síndrome gripal, síndrome respiratória aguda grave (SRAG) e COVID-19 no município. Foi adotada pelo setor de vigilância em saúde a criação de boletins epidemiológicos diários para divulgação dos dados, apresentando as informações mais pertinentes obtidas a partir do monitoramento dos casos de síndrome gripal, SRAG e COVID-19 da população local, sempre comparando com o cenário estadual e federal. En este trabajo, se utilizaron datos del inventario forestal del Parque Natural Sierra de Baza, combinados con variables ambientales (climáticas y topográficas) y dasométricas, para determinar qué factores influyen en la regeneración de siete especies forestales (Pinus sylvestris, P. nigra, P. pinaster, P. halepensis, Quercus ilex, Crataegus monogyna y Acer opalus). La modelización del área potencial de la regeneración de cada especie se hizo usando MaxEnt en un escenario climático actual, y dos escenarios futuros. La combinación tanto de variables dasométricas como climáticas fue destacada para predecir la regeneración de las especies de Pinus sp., A. opalus subsp. granatense y C. monogyna, mientras que la regeneración de Q. ilex estuvo más relacionada con predictores climáticos. En los escenarios futuros de cambio climático, P. halepensis tendería a aumentar significativamente su área óptima de regeneración, y el resto de las especies muestran un descenso moderado (25%) para el periodo 2000-2050. Estos resultados muestran que los modelos de distribución de especies pueden ser una herramienta útil para alcanzar una mayor naturalización de las repoblaciones forestales mediante la identificación de áreas climáticas óptimas futuras. Además, demuestran el potencial de los datos de inventarios forestales para monitorear los cambios en la regeneración y priorizar las actuaciones de restauración para facilitar la regeneración. Como resultado, se precisó que las cuatro vaquerías se ubican en áreas de UA para las que el principal uso ambientalmente recomendado es el pecuario y se identificaron cuatro medidas que deben desarrollarse para lograr una gestión ambiental integrada, las que se deberán adicionar a las medidas de adaptación respecto al cambios climáticos que precisó BASAL para estos sitios. Se concluye que la integración de las herramientas descritas, enriqueció la propuesta de medidas de adaptación al cambio climático, recomendadas en las UPL de la UBPC Patria o Muerte, lo que coadyuva a una gestión ambiental integrada, para un desarrollo sostenible de la producción de leche. El abordaje metodológico tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, basado en un estudio de caso exploratorio y múltiple. Las unidades de análisis fueron ambos clubes y los productores integrantes de estos. Se utilizaron, como técnicas, la encuesta y la entrevista semiestructurada. La evaluación se realizó desde las dimensiones pertinencia, efectividad y sostenibilidad. Como resultados, emergieron las problemáticas compartidas por los productores ganaderos familiares integrantes de ambos clubes agrarios, así como las estrategias comunes adoptadas para mantenerse produciendo y viviendo en el medio rural. Entre estas últimas se destacan la integración productiva y el proceso asociativo, como oportunidad tangible para acceder al recurso tierra; y la pluriactividad, como mecanismo de mejora en los ingresos familiares y garantía de su reproducción en el tiempo, en lo cual las actividades productivas tienen una baja incidencia respecto a las no productivas. Se concluye que la evaluación del acuerdo de cooperación e integración productiva entre la EFMDP y los productores familiares de los clubes agrarios del MJA en Durazno es pertinente y efectiva y su sostenibilidad es moderada.
