Materials and Methods: A total of 100 subjects were selected for the study. An online questionnaire using Google Forms was used to collect the data regarding the dentist's knowledge, perceptions and infection control in dental clinics and if they were affected by COVID-19. Data were analysed using software. Results: Out of 100 participants, 61% of them were male with a mean age of 35.21 years. More than 50% of practitioners took 10–20 min for completion of their procedure. 66% used all the personal protective equipment (PPE) with 64% of them using an N95 mask and around 90% used the PPE kit. Amongst the study group, it was found that 3% were affected by COVID-19, who were between 27 and 33 years. All of them used PPE kit with 67% using N95 mask and 33% used half respirator. 67% amongst them used high-speed handpiece and performed aerosol-producing procedures in a well-ventilated atmosphere with air conditioners. Conclusion: The findings of the study showed that the maximum number of practitioners did follow the clinical protection protocol and when all protocol was followed, the number of dental practitioners affected by COVID-19 was not statistically significant. Since the 3a protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-Golgi compartment, its role in causing ER stress was investigated in transiently transfected cells. Cells expressing the 3a proteins showed ER stress based on activation of genes for the ER chaperones GRP78 and GRP94. Since ER stress can cause differential modulation of the unfolded protein response (UPR), which includes the inositol-requiring enzyme 1 (IRE-1), activating transcription factor 6 (ATF6) and PKR-like ER kinase (PERK) pathways, these were individually tested in 3a-expressing cells. Only the PERK pathway was found to be activated in 3a-expressing cells based on (1) increased phosphorylation of eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha (eIF2alpha) and inhibitory effects of a dominant-negative form of eIF2alpha on GRP78 promoter activity, (2) increased translation of activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) mRNA, and (3) ATF4-dependent activation of the C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) gene promoter. Activation of PERK affects innate immunity by suppression of type 1 interferon (IFN) signaling. The 3a protein was found to induce serine phosphorylation within the IFN alpha-receptor subunit 1 (IFNAR1) degradation motif and to increase IFNAR1 ubiquitination. Confocal microscopic analysis showed increased translocation of IFNAR1 into the lysosomal compartment and flow cytometry showed reduced levels of IFNAR1 in 3a-expressing cells. These results provide further mechanistic details of the pro-apoptotic effects of the SARS-CoV 3a protein, and suggest a potential role for it in attenuating interferon responses and innate immunity. IBV infection consists of many serotypes and can only be controlled by vaccination. An effective IB vaccine should be prepared from local isolates, due to the antigenic variation among serotypes. The aims of this research were to develop inactivated IB vaccine derived from IBV local isolate and to determine the efficacy of that vaccine in layer flocks. Five layer chicken groups were used in this experiments, group I was vaccinated with commercial IBV live vaccine thrice, group II was vaccinated with commercial IBV live vaccine once and repeated with inactivated local IBV isolate twice, group III was vaccinated with commercial IBV live vaccine once and repeated with commercial inactivated twice, group IV was vaccinated with IBV live vaccine once, and group V was not vaccinated. After the chickens reached at a stable egg production they were challenged with IBV local isolates. Antibody responses were examined by means of haemagglutination hibitition (HI) test and HI titres were expressed as log2 of the reciprocal of the highest dilution of serum causing inhibition of a log2 HA titre of 2. The mean titres of antibody responses of chicken in group I, II, III, IV, and V was 4.9 ± 0.87, 6.8 ± 0.97, 7.7 ± 0.46, 2.9 ± 0.94, and 2.0 ± 1.67 respectively. The levels of protection against challenges were determined by viral isolation, this in group I, II, III, IV, and V was 63, 73, 60, 50, and 0% respectively. Clinical symptom of egg quality was slightly reduced in group I, IV, and V and it were unchanged in group II and III. Group II gave better in number of egg production than the other groups. The results indicated that the IBV inactivated localisolate vaccine gave high titres of antibody and higher protection rates than that of commercial IBV inactivated vaccine. Inaddition, IBV local isolate vaccinated group prevented from declining egg production after challenged with IBV local isolate. The green fertilizer efficiency (GF) was evaluated, of organic compound (OC), and biofertilizer (B) in carrot production and seeds quality, compared to conventional fertilizer (CF-control), through the treatments: 1) CF; 2, GF+B via soil; 3) GF+B via plant; 4) OC+B via soil; 5) OC+B via plant; 6) OC+GF+B via soil and 7) OC+GF+B via plant. Il nous manque aux des études sur les impacts écologiques des principaux herbivores étant donné l'alarmant taux de dégradation des habitats de montagne. Se hace necesario comparar la ecología y la ecofisiología de las plantas entre diferentes áreas montañosas y luego extraer generalizaciones. Igualmente resultan urgentes nuevos estudios sobre los impactos de los herbívoros principales, teniendo en cuenta la rápida degradación de los hábitats de montaña. Participaram do estudo dezoito mulheres ligadas ao movimento social das trabalhadoras rurais da região noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. As estratégias metodológicas utilizadas obedeceram aos pressupostos da abordagem genealógica, seguindo uma perspectiva etnográfica. As narrativas produzidas expressam intersecções entre as práticas ligadas aos espaços da casa, da propriedade e do movimento social. Dos resultados produzidos emergem reflexões associadas à compreensão de trabalho como manutenção da vida e possibilidade de transformação de si e do mundo, e as relações entre trabalho e ação política são vistas como conquistas e desafios a serem enfrentados pelas mulheres trabalhadoras rurais.
