                <text>Los graves problemas socioambientales a los que se enfrenta nuestro mundo, deberían ser abordados de manera prioritaria en las propuestas didácticas actuales. De este modo, habría que trabajar en propuestas que incrementasen la capacidad de ajuste de la población a un mundo muy diferente al actual (con menos recursos, pérdida de biodiversidad y cambio climático; en decrecimiento), porque ese es el mundo en el que vivirán quienes hoy están en la etapa de Educación Infantil.Se presenta así una experiencia realizada en un aula con niños y niñas de 3 años, en la que se ha utilizado el huerto escolar como eje central de una propuesta didáctica basada en el modelo de investigación escolar. Los resultados muestran que este recurso favorece la alfabetización ambiental, al tiempo que sirve para articular propuestas didácticas que contribuyen a la resiliencia de la población.</text>

                <text>Abstract Having access to parenting interventions in the early years is key to improve the developmental outcomes of children with neurodevelopmental problems. The Incredible Years® (IY) Parent Program is a group intervention that has demonstrated efficacy in terms of reducing stress in parents, as well as improving behavioral, emotional, and social outcomes in children. The program has been recently adapted for families of children with autism or language delays (IY-ASLD®). This intervention has not yet been implemented in the Spanish Public Health System, where there is a scarcity of evidence-based interventions being offered to families with young children presenting neurodevelopmental problems. The main aims of this study are to determine the feasibility of implementing the IY-ASLD® program within Spanish Child Mental Health Services and to examine parents’ acceptability and satisfaction with the intervention. As a secondary objective, we aim to evaluate its preliminary effectiveness in terms of reducing parental stress and behavioral difficulties in their children. The FIRST STEPS study is a multicenter, pilot randomized controlled trial comparing the IY-ASLD® program with a treatment-as-usual (TAU) condition. Approximately 70 families of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and preterm children with communication and/or socialization difficulties (aged 2–5 years) will be recruited. Families will be assessed prior to randomization and after the intervention. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the intervention will consist of 22 weekly online sessions (approximately 6 months). The FIRST STEPS pilot trial will demonstrate the feasibility and acceptability of reliably implementing the IY-ASLD® program within the Spanish Public Health System. The results of this study could represent the first step to inform policymakers in Spain when designing evidence-based healthcare pathways for families of children presenting ASD symptoms or neurodevelopmental difficulties at early stages.                 <text>El Plan de Acción para el Manejo de las Zonas Costeras de Nicaragua fue formulado durante la primera fase del programa “Manejo Integral de las Zonas Costeras de Nicaragua” (MAIZCo). La agencia ejecutora de la primera fase fue la Dirección General del Ambiente (DGA) del Ministerio del Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (MARENA).   Las estrategias y propuestas de acciones inmediatas formuladas en el Plan de Acción están basadas en un marco conceptual y un diagnóstico de las potencialidades y problemática de la Zona Costera. Tanto el marco conceptual como el diagnostico fueron desarrollados en un intenso proceso de interacción con los actores sustantivos. Una serie de entrevistas y talleres a nivel local, regional y nacional fueron organizados.   Un primer paso incluyó la definición de los siguientes dos principios guías para el Manejo Integral de las Zonas Costeras en Nicaragua. El objetivo general del plan es facilitar un uso sostenible de los recursos naturales en las zonas Costeras de Nicaragua para el beneficio de toda la sociedad. Además, como objetivos específicos se considera contribuir al crecimiento económico; mantener la integridad de los ecosistemas costeros; contribuir a una distribución equitativa de los bienes y servicios producidos por los recursos naturales; y facilitar un efectivo y eficiente manejo.   El diagnóstico de las zonas costeras incluyó: Nicaragua tiene extensivos recursos naturales en el área costera, los cuales podrían –pero no- jugar un substancial rol en el desarrollo social y económico de Nicaragua. La problemática general no es la degradación de los ecosistemas costeros, pero si en general los recursos están subexplotados y los beneficios no están bien distribuidos. Un uso indiscriminado, sin embargo, podría significar en un futuro inmediato la sobreexplotación de ecosistemas específicos (ejemplo: áreas de manglares en la costa Pacífica) y especies (ejemplos: la langosta en la costa Atlántica).   Las actividades identificadas como prioritarias fueron: (a) Iniciar el Manejo Integral de Zonas Costeras en áreas de manejo piloto a través de la identificación de actores involucrados y la formación de la posible unidad técnica para coordinar el proyecto a nivel regional. (b) Capacitar al Grupo de Manejo de las Zonas Costeras de MARENA, incluyendo sistemas de información geográfica entre otros. (c) Iniciar a nivel nacional la Valoración de los RRNN; Indicadores de Sostenibilidad; y Vulnerabilidad ante los Cambios Climáticos e Incremento del Nivel del Mar. (d) Establecimiento de mecanismos de coordinación a nivel nacional. (e) Definición de Zonas Costeras y Priorización y Selección de áreas de Manejo Especiales (AMIEs). (f) Iniciar con el proceso de formulación del proyecto, para el establecimiento de un centro de documentación e información de Zonas Costeras.</text>

                <text>COVID 19 struck us all like a bolt of lightning and for the past 10 months, it has tested our resilience, agility, creativity, and adaptability in all aspects of our lives and work. Simulation centers and simulation-based educational programs have not been spared. Rather than wait for the pandemic to be over before commencing operations and training, we have been actively looking at programs, reviewing alternative methods such as e-learning, use of virtual learning platforms, decentralization of training using in situ simulation (ISS) modeling, partnerships with relevant clinical departments, cross-training of staff to attain useful secondary skills, and many other alternatives and substitutes. It has been an eye-opening journey as we maximize our staff's talent and potential in new adoptions and stretching our goals beyond what we deemed was possible. This paper shares perspectives from simulation centers; The SingHealth Duke NUS Institute of Medical Simulation which is integrated with an Academic Medical Center in Singapore, The Robert and Dorothy Rector Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, which is integrated with Thomas Jefferson University, Oakhill Emergency Department, Florida State University Emergency Medicine Program, Florida, USA and The Wellington Regional Simulation and skills center. It describes the experiences from the time when COVID 19 first struck countries around the world to the current state whereby the simulation centers have stWWarting functioning in their “new norm.” These centers were representative examples of those in countries which had extremely heavy (USA), moderate (Singapore) as well as light (New Zealand) load of COVID 19 cases in the nation. Whichever categories these centers were in, they all faced disruption and had to make the necessary adjustments, aligning with national policies and advisories. As there is no existing tried and tested model for the running of a simulation center during an infectious disease pandemic, this can serve as a landmark reference paper, as we continue to fine-tune and prepare for the next new, emerging infectious disease or crisis.</text>

This study aims to analyze the aspects of safety, immunity, and faith in physical education learning at IAIN Salatiga. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and uses a case study design. The results of this research show that the safety aspect has been implemented in Physical Education learning at IAIN Salatiga by fully implementing online learning. Furthermore, the immunity aspect is carried out in physical education learning by implementing a physical fitness independent exercise program. Finally, the faith aspect is achieved by praying together before and after Physical Education learning. This research concludes that the aspects of safety, immunity, and faith have been implemented in physical education learning at IAIN Salatiga during the Covid-19 Pandemic.  BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Fokus penelitian ini tentang aspek aman, imun, dan iman dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani (penjas) di IAIN Salatiga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek aman, imun, dan iman dalam pembelajaran penjas di IAIN Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis dan menggunakan desain case study. Hasil penelitian ini adalah aspek aman telah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran penjas di IAIN Salatiga dengan cara melaksanakan pembelajaran penuh dalam jaringan (daring). Selanjutnya, aspek imun dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran penjas dengan cara pelaksanaan program latihan mandiri kebugaran jasmani. Sementara itu aspek iman dicapai dengan cara melaksanakan do’a bersama sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran penjas. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah aspek aman, imun, dan iman telah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran penjas di IAIN Salatiga selama Pandemi Covid-19.</text>

                <text>From March 2020 until July 2020, the UAE implemented mandatory distance learning due to COVID-19, which meant that children had to continue their learning remotely at home. Though schools concerted exemplary efforts to ensure that children received all that was necessary through advanced technology platforms and interfaces, the duty of ensuring that children continued to engage in successful learning fell solely on parents. This paper is based on a self-report study conducted during this first period of distance learning where parents were invited to anonymously complete a survey and then be interviewed. The paper relies on interviews as its main data source. Interview transcripts once transcribed were thematically analysed. One recurring theme in the data was gender differences in domestic and other duties as well as attending to the educational needs of children. Mothers, irrespective of cultural or educational background, disproportionately seemed to be the caretakers of the home and of children’s educational needs. Mothers spoke of their mental health concerns, pressures of time management, and negative effects on their own work. This paper makes an original contribution by exploring parental experiences of emergency remote learning and what these reflect about parental ethnotheories in the UAE.</text>

                <text>Introduction: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2) emerged in Wuhan, China late 2019 and became a pandemic causing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Despite its lower mortality rate compared to the other coronaviruses, it has a higher human-to-human transmission rate. Anesthesiologists may benefit from a review of the current evidence related to the obstetric patient with COVID-19.  Methods: We reviewed the literature for relevant articles as well as experts' opinions from related medical societies' websites.  Conclusion: There are several anesthetic considerations in the care of pregnant women with COVID-19 due to their unique physiological changes. We provide considerations and recommendations for departmental and institutional leadership as well as the obstetric anesthesia providers. These recommendations may apply and can be edited, for future droplet or airborne based pandemics. The rapidly evolving literature makes it important to get updates directly from the relevant medical societies' websites.</text>

                <text>2019 yılı sonlarında ortaya çıkan COVID-19 salgını etkisini gün geçtikçe artırmaktadır.   Salgının yarattığı ekonomik hasar ise en büyük ekonomik şoklardan biri olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu süreçte yaşanan ekonomik belirsizlikler ve kırılganlıklar, karantina ve sosyal izolasyon önlemleri, salgının getirdiği ek sorumluluk ve maliyetler işletmeleri iflasın eşiğine getirmekte, pek çok insan işini kaybetme tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. COVID-19 döneminde uygulanan sosyal mesafe önlemleri nedeniyle bireylerin çalışma ve yaşam şekilleri de değişmektedir. Niteliği itibarıyla geçmiş yıllardaki ekonomik krizlerden farklı seyreden salgının ekonomik hayatta yer alan erkek ve kadın çalışanlar üzerindeki etkileri de farklıdır. Çalışmada COVID-19’un ekonomik etkilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği bağlamında değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Sistematik literatür taraması yöntemi ile konu ile alakalı farklı perspektifler içeren güncel bilgiler derlenmiş ve bu hususta değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.  Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular salgının ekonomik etkilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğine negatif etkisi olacağı yönündedir. Bunun nedeni kadınların yoğun olarak çalıştığı hizmet sektörünün salgın sürecinde diğer sektörlere nazaran daha savunmasız konumda olmasıdır. Ayrıca sosyal mesafe ve evden eğitim süreci kadınların ev ve bakım yükünü artırarak istihdama ayırdıkları süreyi azaltmaktadır. Diğer taraftan sosyal mesafe dönemi ev içerisinde daha eşit bir iş bölümü yaratabilir ve ortak çocuk bakım sorumluluğunu artırabilir. Bu durumlar toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğine pozitif etki sağlayabilir. Ele aldığı konu bakımından güncel olması ve özgün nitelik taşıması nedeniyle çalışmanın ilgili literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.</text>

                <text>Amaç: COVID-19 Pandemi döneminde ülkemizde alınan önlemler ve kısıtlamaların bir sonucu olarak Antalya Çocuk İzlem Merkezine müracaat ettirilen olgu sayılarındaki nicel azalmanın analizi ve etkilerine karşı öneriler geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.     Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel çalışmaya 2019 Mart-Nisan ve 2020 Mart-Nisan aylarında cinsel istismar nedeni ile Antalya Çocuk İzlem Merkezine müracaat ettirilen toplam 309 olgu alınmıştır. Her iki grup sosyo-demografik parametreler ve merkezde yapılan değerlendirmeler açısından incelenmiş, istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır.     Bulgular: Antalya Çocuk İzlem Merkezinde 2019 yılı Mart-Nisan aylarında 211 (%68.3); 2020 yılı Mart-Nisan aylarında 98 (%31.7) olgu değerlendirlmiştir. Tüm olguların yaş aralığı 1-18 arasında değişmekte olup yaş ortalaması 12.95 ± 3.24’tür. Olguların 257’si (%83.2) kadındır. 225 (%72.8) olguda kesin cinsel istismar bulguları saptanmıştır. Bildiren kişilere ve oranlarına bakıldığında kontrol grubunda en sık öğretmenler (%39.3) ardından ebeveynler (%37.4) iken; çalışma grubunda en sık ebeveynler (%35.1) ardından öğretmenler (%30.9) olduğu saptanmıştır. Kontrol grubunda failin sevgili-arkadaş olma oranı %40.8 iken, çalışma grubunda (pandemi döneminde) bu oran %24.5’e düşmüştür.   Sonuç: Pandemi döneminde çocuk cinsel istismarı risk faktörleri artarken aynı dönemde ihbar edilme oranlarının düştüğü saptanmıştır. Çalışmamızda öğretmenlerin istismarın ihbar edilmesindeki rolü ortaya konmuştur. Hukuk ve tıp profesyonellerinde multidisipliner yaklaşım açısından bu dönemde anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır.</text>
