El glifosato, comercialmente conocido como Roundup, es uno de los herbicidas más ampliamente utilizados en pos emergencia, principalmente por su alta efectividad, dado que actúa en forma sistémica sobre un gran número de especies de hoja ancha y gramíneas, además de ser económico, presenta poco o ningún efecto residual en el suelo y finalmente considerado de baja toxicidad1. Este bajo impacto en el ambiente es atribuido a que una vez aplicado, el glifosato tiende a ser adsorbido por las partículas del suelo y por lo tanto inactivado, aunque no se conoce bien como ocurre esta adsorción, se ha demostrado que iones específicos (Fe2+, Fe3+, Al3+) forman complejos con el glifosato y los complejos formados entre metales y ácidos húmicos en el suelo pueden ser un mecanismo de unión del glifosato con las partículas del suelo2. Así las moléculas de glifosato adsorbidas pueden no sufrir degradación o ser degradadas lentamente, lo que le permite persistir en el ambiente varios años.En la década de 1990, el uso del Roundup se amplió aún más con el desarrollo de los cultivos de soja tolerantes al glifosato 'Roundup Ready' genéticamente modificados (GM) de Monsanto, seguido de los cultivos de maíz y algodón Roundup Ready.3 Los herbicidas basados en Roundup/glifosato también son la base de la agricultura sin labranza y se utilizan en millones de hectáreas a nivel mundial, solo para ese uso. Este herbicida de amplio espectro (N- (fosfonometil) glicina) bloquea la acción de la enzima (5-enolpiruvilshikimata 3-fosfato o EPSP), la que interviene en la síntesis de aminoácidos y otros nutrientes esenciales para la planta (mediante una reacción en cascada conocida como ruta del ácido shikímico).4 Este mecanismo no se presenta en los seres humanos por lo que había sido considerado de bajo riesgo para la salud, sin embargo, investigaciones recientes indican que puede alterar otros procesos celulares en animales lo que puede presentar un factor de riesgo para la salud en las zonas donde se emplea este herbicida.5 Sin embargo los resultados no son concluyentes, pues por un lado La Agencia Internacional para la Investigación en Cáncer (International Agency for Research on Cáncer, IARC) se observó que el glifosato podría ser considerado un carcinógeno en humanos, mientras que la Agencia Europea de Seguridad Alimentaria (European Food Safety Agency, EFSA) no reporto evidencia de riesgo de cáncer, trayendo como consecuencia regulaciones contradictorias en Europa referente al uso de este herbicida.3Estos hechos han generado una gran controversia que ha promovido preocupación pública que ha conllevado a la necesidad de establecer regulaciones sobre el uso de glifosato. Aunque en Europa, el glifosato aún tiene licencia para ser comercializado, se ha propuesto una reevaluación en los próximos años ya que no hubo suficiente apoyo a favor o en contra de la propuesta de renovación.1 Luego de la recomendación hecha por Ministro de Salud de Colombia, se suspendió de manera temporal el uso de este herbicida en los programas de erradicación de cultivos ilícitos con glifosato.6Sin embargo, más allá de las regulaciones al uso de esta molécula, es necesario hacer un cuestionamiento al modelo agroexportador, que promueve el uso indiscriminado de agroquímicos y así pone en condición de vulnerabilidad a los trabajadores agrícolas y al ecosistema.7 Así, la discusión sobre el uso de glifosato deberá ser enfrentada no solo por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) sino también por las organizaciones sociales y ecologistas a nivel mundial.

Es objetivo de la Unión Europea y de todos sus estados miembros, potenciar la economía circular en todos los sectores. En 2015, la Comi-sión Europea adoptó un plan de acción para contribuir a la transición hacia una economía circular, estableciendo 54 medidas para 'cerrar el círculo' del ciclo de vida de los productos: de la producción y el consumo a la gestión de residuos y el mercado de materias primas secundarias. Sin duda la gestión adecuada de los residuos de construcción demolición es fundamental en este proceso, ya que significan a aproximadamente un tercio de los residuos generados en la Unión. El Gobierno de España también ha trabajado en esta dirección con la Estrategia Española de Economía Circular, “España Circular 2030”, en la que uno de sus ejes principales de actuación es la gestión de residuos, en la que, entre otros objetivos, se propone la revisión del RD 105/2008 por el que se regula la producción y gestión de los residuos de construcción y demolición y que proporciona el marco legal a esta gestión de RCD en la edificación, a través de herramientas como el estudio y el plan de gestión de RCD. Una de las deficiencias más habituales detectadas por los agentes del sector, es no contar con unos ratios orientativos consistentes de generación de RCD que faciliten la elaboración de estos documentos preceptivos, así como el seguimiento de la gestión tanto por los téc-nicos competentes como por las administraciones públicas. El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sido intentar dar solución a la dispersión de ratios de generación de residuos de construcción y demoli-ción, generando una serie de tablas parametrizadas que puedan servir de ayuda y orientación para calcular los ratios de RCD suscepti-bles de generarse en una obra de construcción o demolición para las grandes regiones climáticas de España. Para la recogida de datos se ha recurrido tanto a fuentes públicas como privadas. Se han consultado bases de datos de entidades de reco-nocido prestigio, recopilado ratios provenientes de normativas autonómicas y locales y, de manera activa, se ha solicitado información a los agentes más relevantes del sector: Colegios Profesionales, Universidades, entidades que desarrollan trabajo específico en este campo, proyectos relacionados de ámbito europeo y actores privados en el sector. El resultado son unas tablas parametrizadas por grandes zonas climáticas, tanto para nueva construcción como demolición de edificios residenciales y terciarios. Este trabajo ha sido posible gracias a la iniciativa de los Consejos Superior y General de Colegios de Arquitec-tos y Arquitectos Técnicos de España. One of the main objectives of the European Union and all of its member states is to promote the circular economy in all production sec-tors. In 2015, the European Commission adopted an action plan to contribute to the transition towards a circular economy. Establishing 54 measures to 'finish the circle' of products life cycle: from production and consumption to waste management and the markets for recy-cling services and secondary raw materials. Certainly, the correct management of construction and demolition waste is essential in this process, it represents approximately the third part of the waste generated by the European Union. The Government of Spain has also worked in the same direction with the strategy called Spanish Circular Economy, “España Circular 2030”, in which one of its main axes is the management of wasting, in which, among other objectives, it proposes the review of the RD 105/2008 which regulates the production and management of construction and demolition waste. This Royal Decree provides the legal framework for this management of RCD in building, through tools such as the study and the management plan of RCD. One of the most common problems detected by construction sector agents is not having estimated ratios for the generation of RCD. The objective of this work has been trying to solve the dispersion of these construction and demolition waste generation ratios, making some parameterized tables that can help calculating the RCD ratios produced in a construction or demolition work, by the climatic regions of Spain. The data have been obtained from different sources, both public and private. The parameterized tables have been made by consulting the databases of prestigious entities, in addition, ratios have been compiled from regional and local regulations, actively, information has been requested from the most relevant agents in the sector: Professional Associations, Universities, related European projects and private actors in the sector.

Chia es una de las cuatro parcialidades de Azarona, sector perteneciente al distrito de Ollachea de la provincia de Carabaya en el Departamento de Puno. Los 322 habitantes (según el censo de Junio de 1972) —cuyas viviendas están diseminadas a lo largo de unos 15 kilómetros— se dedican a la pequeña agriculturade subsistencia: un poco de maíz, papas, ocas, ollucos e izanos, pero sobretodo a la ganadería. Los 'indios' evolucionando dentro de una zona de actividad que comprende tres niveles de altitud, lo que correobora la tesis de Murra sobre la dimensión siempre vertical de la ecología andina.

La Directiva sobre eficiencia energética de los edificios 2010/31/EU (EPBD) fue modificada por la Directiva 2018/844 del Parlamento Europeo para, entre otras cosas, acelerar la renovación profunda de los edificios en la Unión Europea (UE). Según esta actualización, los Estados miembros deberían crear un camino claro hacia el logro de un parque de edificios con cero emisiones en la UE para 2050, respaldado por hojas de ruta nacionales con hitos e indicadores de progreso nacionales, y por financiación e inversión públicas y privadas. Queda patente que la prioridad de la Comisión Europea para conseguir la verdadera descarbonización de las ciudades, debe ser, además de limitar las emisiones de los edificios nuevos, rehabilitar energéticamente los edificios existentes. España cuenta con una Estrategia a largo plazo para la rehabilitación energética en el sector de la edificación en España que ha sido valorada como la mejor estrategia de toda la Unión Europea. Esta estrategia tiene un carácter cualitativo y resulta de interés otorgarle datos cuantificables basados en los objetivos ya conseguidos que permitan articular políticas claras y eficaces. Está comunicación tiene como objetivo presentar los resultados del Informe de evaluación sobre políticas públicas de rehabilitación residencial en España (2013-2017) resultado del Proyecto de Investigación “utilización sostenible de recursos naturales” financiado por Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica (MITECO) en la convocatoria 2018. Este informe ha permitido dotar de valores cuantificables los ahorros energéticos y emisiones conseguidos en el periodo estudiado. Para ello se ha elaborado una metodología de investigación para el seguimiento y evaluación de las políticas públicas y las iniciativas privadas acerca de la regeneración y rehabilitación urbanas, se han desarrollado indicadores y se han realizado recomendaciones futuras que ayuden a medir los objetivos y resultados, singularmente en lo relativo al ahorro energético. Los resultados ponen en evidencia la falta de medida por parte de las administraciones públicas, y muestran que estamos lejos de los objetivos. Este estudio ha sido realizado por el Observatorio Ciudad 3R –Rehabilitación. Renovación. Regeneración-, el cual surge en 2017 enmarcado en la línea estratégica de trabajo de la Fundación Ecología y Desarrollo (ECODES), e intenta dar respuesta a uno de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), relativo a las “Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles” (objetivo 11). The Directive on Energy Efficiency of Buildings 2010/31 / EU (EPBD) was amended by Directive 2018/844 of the European Parliament to, among other things, accelerate the deep renovation of buildings in the European Union (EU). According to this update, Member States should create a clear path towards achieving a zero-emission building stock in the EU by 2050 supported by national roadmaps with national milestones and indicators of progress, and by public funding and investment and private. It is clear t the European Commission's priority to achieve the true decarbonisation of cities must be, in addition to limiting emissions from new buildings, to energetically renovation of existing buildings. Spain has a long-term Strategy for energy rehabilitation in the building sector in Spain that has been valued as the best strategy in the entire European Union. This strategy is qualitative in nature, and it is interesting to provide it with quantifiable data based on the objectives already achieved that allow the articulation of clear and effective policies. This communication aims to present the results of the Evaluation Report on public policies for residential renovation in Spain (2013-2017) resulting from the Research Project 'sustainable use of natural resources' funded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition (MITECO) in the call 2018. This report has made it possible to provide quantifiable values for the energy savings and emissions achieved in the period studied. A research methodology has been developed for the monitoring and evaluation of public policies and private initiatives about urban regeneration and renovation, indicators have been developed and future recommendations have been made to help measure the objectives and results, particularly regarding energy saving. The results show the lack of measure by public administrations and show that we are far from the objectives. This study has been carried out by the Observatorio Ciudad 3R –Renovation. Renewal. Regeneration-, which arises in 2017 framed in the strategic line of work of the Ecology and Development Foundation (ECODES) and tries to respond to one of the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), related to 'Sustainable Cities and Communities' (objective 11).

Hasta hoy, se ha dado poca importancia a los sistemas hidráulicos de las comunidades andinas; sin embargo, los pocos estudios acerca de este tema muestran la importancia que tiene el riego de características similares que se presentan a lo largo de diferentes comunidades de agricultura con riego en el área cisandina. Estos estudios (Mitchell, 1981; Shaedel, 1983; Fonseca, 1983) llaman la atención sobre el uso racional dela gua de riego, de acuerdo a la ecología de dichas comunidades, mediante lo cual los campesinos tratan de optimizar su producción. Otro grupo de trabajos (Arguedas, 1968; Ossio, 1976; Sherbondy, 1982, 1983) ha prestado atención a las 'ceremonias festivas del culto al agua' que se practican en diversas comunidades andinas, en las cuales existe agricultura con riego, bajo diferentes nombres 'Fiesta del Agua o Yaku Raymi', 'Limpia de Acequias o Yarqa Aspiy', 'Champerías', etc.; las cuales se constituyen en 'una de las expresiones más obvias del impacto que ha tenido la irrigación en la organización social andina' (Gelles, 1984:1), por lo que han llamado la atención de varios estudiosos peruanos y extranjeros.

La presente investigación es parte del estudio que desarrollan la Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte de Guayaquil (ULVRG), la Coordinación de Investigación Científica y un equipo de investigadores de la Escuela de Comercio Exterior que trabajan en el proyecto 'Guía para exportar abono orgánico a los principales mercados internacionales de Sudamérica, Estados Unidos de América (U.S.A.) y Europa'. Tiene como propósito potenciar el uso de abonos orgánicos en la agricultura ecuatoriana, con la finalidad de reducir las importaciones de fertilizantes sintéticos, evitando la contaminación ambiental, cuyas afectaciones resultan evidentes en nuestro entorno. Concientizar a los pequeños y medianos agricultores a cambiar su manejo de cultivo agrícola, lo cual nos está dejando al margen de un mercado potencial de crecimiento, con miras a ser competitivos en Producción Orgánica.

Evaluation of two organic foliar fertilizers in the production of pitahaya (hylocereus undatus) cultivation in the ecuadorian littoral Resumen La producción de pitahaya en el Ecuador es variable en cada año dado que tiene marcadamente dos épocas en las que se obtiene su cosecha, una es entre febrero y marzo y la otra entre julio y agosto. El objetivo fue evaluar el efecto de dos fertilizantes orgánicos líquidos en la producción del cultivo de pitahaya. La investigación se realizó desde junio hasta septiembre del 2015 en la finca “FENIX”. Se utilizaron 300 plantas del genero Hylocereus undatus, los factores estudiados fueron los fertilizantes orgánicos líquidos (Biol y Purín) en dosis de 40 y 60 L ha-1 fraccionada en dos aplicaciones. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completamente al azar con cinco tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Los principales resultados mostraron que el abono orgánico Biol en dosis de 60 L ha-1, obtuvo los mejores resultados en todas las variables evaluadas siendo esta dosis la queermitió incrementar los rendimientos del cultivo de pitahaya, alcanzando un rendimiento de 7924 kg ha-1. Abstract The production of pitahaya in Ecuador is variable in each year since it has markedly two periods in which its harvest is obtained, one is between February and March and the other between July and August. The objective was to evaluate the effect of two liquid organic fertilizers on the production of the pitahaya crop. The investigation was carried out from June to September of 2015 in the farm 'FENIX'. 300 plants of the genus Hylocereus undatus were used, the factors studied were liquid organic fertilizers (Biol and Purín) in doses of 40 and 60 L ha-1 fractionated in two applications. A completely randomized block design with five treatments and four replicates was used. The main results showed that the organic fertilizer Biol in doses of 60 L ha-1, obtained the best results in all the evaluated variables being this dose the that allowed to increase the yields of the pitahaya culture, reaching a yield of 7924 kg ha-1. En el presente trabajo se realizó un estudio de la posición arancelaria de los Fertilizantes o Abonos Orgánicos en el Ecuador y su incidencia en el Comercio Exterior. El estudio permitió comprobar que no existe un desdoblamiento arancelario que facilite la identificación de los tipos de abonos importados desde nuestro país y exportados hacia distintas partes del mundo, ya que el Sistema Armonizado que se utiliza actualmente, no hace una distinción entre los abonos orgánicos animales y los vegetales. Se consideró una Ficha Técnica elaborada como parte de las actividades del Proyecto de Investigación IC-ULVRG-12-l0 'GuÍA PARA EXPORTAR ABONO ORGÁNICO HACIA LOS PRINCIPALES MERCADOS DE ESTADOS UNIDOS, EUROPA Y SUDAMÉRICA' e información sobre Clasificación Arancelaria que se registra en la Organización Mundial de Aduanas OMA. La presente revisión tiene como propósito dar a conocer la importancia del análisis técnico del producto y la interpretación el Sistema Armonizado al momento de asignar una Partida Arancelaria al mismo, especialmente cuando la Codificación Arancelaria de los Productos es la base para facilitar el comercio exterior y elaborar estadísticas del mismo.

<p align='justify'>La antracnosis causada por <i> Colletotrichum lindemuthianum</i> puede llegar a generar pérdidas hasta del 95% de la producción en fríjol (<i>Phaseolus vulgaris</i> L.), por eso es considerada una de las enfermedades más limitantes. Con el presente trabajo se inició un programa de mejoramiento utilizando selección asistida por marcadores. Se usó como parental resistente el cultivar Mesoamericano G2333, para incorporar a fríjoles volubles comerciales de Colombia los genes <i>Co-5</i> y <i>Co-4<sup>2</sup> </i>, que confieren resistencia a <i>C. lindemuthianum</i>. Se obtuvieron progenies RC<sub>1</sub>F<sub>1</sub> provenientes de cruces entre G2333 y siete parentales volubles tipo Bola roja y Rojo moteado cultivados en zonas productoras de fríjol de Cundinamarca y Boyacá. La selección de plantas RC<sub>1</sub>F<sub>1</sub> se realizó con los marcadores moleculares SCAR SAB3 y SAS13, ligados a los genes <i>Co-5</i> y <i>Co-4<sup>2</sup> </i>, respectivamente. En la evaluación genotípica de 1.271 plantas RC<sub>1</sub>F<sub>1</sub>, 608 amplificaron con SAB3 y 603 con SAS13. La segregación para cada marcador se ajustó a la razón 1:1 esperada en pruebas de chi-cuadrado (X<sup>2 </sup>= 2,38, P= 0,12 para SAB3 y X<sup>2 </sup>= 3,32, P= 0,07 para SAS13). Un total de 299 plantas RC<sub>1</sub>F<sub>1</sub> amplificaron con ambos SCAR, ajustándose a la razón esperada (X<sup>2</sup>= 1,11, P= 0,78) y confirmando la segregación independiente. Estas plantas fueron seleccionadas para continuar el programa de mejoramiento, ya que se espera que porten los genes <i>Co-5</i> y <i>Co-4<sup>2</sup></i>. Se logró implementar la selección asistida por marcadores para antracnosis, y acelerar la introducción y piramidación de genes de resistencia en fríjol de importancia económica en Colombia.</p>
