The study uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory strategy. The results of the study found that to face the new normal era, SMEs have challenges such as the ability of human resources, understanding of information technology, and business model transformation. An interesting finding in this study is that in facing the new normal era, information technology is not a determining factor for increasing consumer trust and increasing income, but product hygiene and environmental sanitation are the determining factors for the existence of SMEs in eastern Indonesia. We report the first case of COVID-19 pneumonia in an elderly patient with multiple myeloma (MM), complicated by acute calculous cholecystitis (ACC). A 73-year-old gentleman with underlying IgG kappa MM, presented with fever, cough and dyspnoea. His nasopharyngeal swab was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Despite negative swab on day 10, he developed ACC on day 17. With antibiotics and supportive care, patient showed full recovery without any surgical intervention. Thisreview shows that real-time polymerase chain reaction and imaging technology both play an importantrole in the diagnosis of COVID-19. However, imaging modalities have more importance in diagnosisand screening than qRT-PCR. The qRT-PCR was positive in 81.3% whereas CT scan abnormality wasobserved in 89.8%. Bilateral lobe (51.4%) abnormality was found more than a single lobe (21.5%) inCOVID-19 infected patients. The CT scan reports show a high-level abnormality in right lower lung lobethan others in COVID-19 infected patients.
