The karstic soils of Yucatan, Mexico, are extremely vulnerable to contamination of the aquifer, due to the easy filtration of pollutants. There is evidence of contamination of the Yucatan aquifer, Mexico, by organochlorine pesticides, as well as its bioaccumulation in blood of women with cancer and breast milk, due to agricultural activities. In order to characterize the knowledge on the handling of agrochemicals, interviews were conducted, aimed at farmers and housewives in the municipalities of Tekáx, Oxkutzkab and Dzán, in the agricultural area at Yucatan. To the information process were used the STAT, SPSS, ArcMap, and Ethnograph programs were used. The results indicate the use of 69 classes of agrochemicals, among them, organochlorinated pesticides such as lindane and endosulfan 23 %, DDT 13 %, heptachlor 10 %, aldrin 10 %. Likewise, 55 % of the farmers reported using the glyphosate herbicide for the production of soybeans. In the backyard production, women use agrochemicals for the production of vegetables and pest control of small animal species. The results show the use of pesticides banned and / or restricted by international organizations, as well as glyphosate for the production of soybean, representing high impacts for human health and the aquifer. It is recommended to apply the international norms, as well as educational programs with agroecological basis on sustainable agriculture, avoiding applying carcinogenic agrochemicals. En total 20 analíticas de fitosanitarios y 64 determinaciones de ocratoxina A.Puesto que no hay límite legal en vino, ningún resultado sobrepasó el límite máximo de residuos fitosanitarios en uva de vinificación. La determinación de fitosanitarios en vino tiene sentido si se justifican factores de dilución o concentración durante el proceso de elaboración, respecto a los límites máximos de residuos fitosanitarios en uva, lo cual no sucedió en ningún caso. Una muestra presentó residuos de dos fitosanitarios distintos, y en una muestra de vino ecológico se obtuvo 5 mg kg-1 de iprodiona (límite máximo de residuo de iprodiona en uva: 10 mg kg-1), orientando sobre prácticas agrícolas incorrectas.Ningún resultado de ocratoxina A superó el límite legal en vino de 2 μg L-1 (Reglamento(CE)Nº 1881/2006). Se obtuvieron concentraciones de hasta 0,44 μg L-1, demostrando que es posible la ocurrencia de ocratoxina A en vino.Es necesario que las bodegas definan y apliquen medidas de control eficaces sobre estos dos peligros. Se aplico un cuestionario estructurado a 36 productores pertenecientes al poblado C-34 de Huimanguillo, Tabasco. Se evaluaron los egresos e ingresos en términos monetarios de la plantación del cacao. Para la determinación de la captura de Carbono se estudiaron nueve sitios con superficie de tres hectáreas cada uno pertenecientes al poblado C-34 y un sitio ubicado en el Km-21 del campo experimental del Colegio de Postgraduados. Para la cuantificación de Carbono, se utilizo la metodología rápida para la estimación y monitoreo de captura de carbono propuesta por Rendón y Soto, 2007. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizo un análisis ANOVA y una prueba Tukey Kramer. La plantación de cacao de 20 años obtuvo la mayor utilidad con $ 7 653 ± $ 3 921, mientras que la plantación de cacao de 30 años obtuvo la menor utilidad promedio con $ 5 899 ± $ 3 420. El análisis estadístico demostró que no hubo diferencias estadísticas significativas en relación al Carbono capturado en las parcelas evaluadas; Sin embargo, en las plantaciones de cacao de 15 años de edad se obtuvo un valor promedio 100.6 ± 110.5 t/C/ha-1 mientras que en las de 20 años se obtuvo 49.9 ± 14 t/C/ha-1. La permeabilidad de las semillas se evaluó en lotes de 100 con tres réplicas, la viabilidad se determinó mediante pruebas de tinción con tetrazolio a 0.5 y 1% en diferentes tiempos en donde se obtuvo el porcentaje de semillas viables y no viables. Por otro lado, se evaluaron dos promotores de germinación (Nitrato de potasio (KNO3) y Ácido giberélico (GA3) a tres concentraciones diferentes (500, 1000 y 2000 mg L-1)) con tres repeticiones cada uno seguidos de la siembra en medio MS. Finalmente con las pruebas realizadas se determinó el porcentaje de semillas viables germinables y viables no germinables. Las semillas utilizadas en la evaluación de permeabilidad mostraron que transcurridas 10 horas alcanzaban un máximo de absorción de agua, la determinación de tinción de semillas tuvo mayor resultado con tetrazolio al 1.0%. La evaluación de los dos promotores tuvo como resultado el 33% de germinación aproximadamente con GA3 [500 mgL-1] y 18% con KNO3 [500 mgL-1]. Esta especie reviste gran importancia ecológica, económica y cultural. Este estudio permitió, conocer los bienes y servicios que esta especie aporta dentro de la División. Para ello se planteó identificar y evaluar losservicios ecosistémicos que brinda esta especie en la DACBiol-UJAT, durante el año 2017. El trabajo se dividió en tres partes: Primero, revisión bibliográfica, segundo, trabajo de campo; dividido en 7 etapas; 1) censo, 2) premuestreo, 3) marcaje, 4) medición, 5) monitoreo, 6) servicios ambientales y 7) etapas reproductivas; y tercero trabajo de gabinete. Los bienes y servicios registrados fueron: alimento, regulación de la temperatura, polinización, anidación, nidación, hábitat, refugio, percha, descanso, generación de materia orgánica, sombra y belleza escénica. Se registraron cuatro grupos taxonómicos de fauna que hacen uso de los bienes que genera esta especie: aves, insectos, mamíferos y reptiles; los grupos que registraron mayor riqueza fueron las aves seguido por el grupo de insectos. Se registró una temperatura mensual que va de 28.6 hasta los 34.7°C y en sombra reduce la temperatura de 26 a 30 °C. Se registraron los servicios ecosistémicos que brinda Tabebuia rosea en la zona de estudio; estos servicios se dividieron en cuatro categorías: servicios de provisión, regulación, soporte y cultural. Además, benefician a la diversidad biológica que se sustenta, resguarda y habita en el nicho ecológico que provee esta especie.
