In milder cases of the disease, the exact time frame and causal path of late-onset complications have not yet been determined. Although direct and indirect renal injury by SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed, hemorrhagic renal infection or coagulative problems in the urinary tract have not yet been described. This case report describes a 35-year-old female without relevant medical history who, five days after having recovered from infection with SARS-CoV-2, had an unusual course of acute pyelonephritis of the right kidney and persistent fever under targeted antibiotic treatment. A hemorrhagic ureteral obstruction and severe swollen renal parenchyma preceded the onset of fever and was related to the developing pyelonephritis. Sudden thrombotic venous occlusion in the right eye appeared during admission. Symmetrical paresthesia in the limbs in combination with severe lower back pain and gastro-intestinal complaints also occurred and remained unexplained despite thorough investigation. We present the unusual combination of culture-confirmed bacterial hemorrhagic pyelonephritis with a blood clot in the proximal right ureter, complicated by retinal vein thrombosis, in a patient who had recovered from SARS-CoV-2-infection five days before presentation. The case is suspect of a COVID-19-related etiology. Fukayama Description An account of the resource The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality and the production of biogas and biofertilizer obtained from biodigester supplied with pig feces in the initial, growing and finishing stages, fed with diets formulated based on corn or sorghum. Twenty bench biodigesters were used with hydraulic retention time of 30 days and daily loads that contained 4 to 6% of total solids (TS) and 3.6 to 5.2% of volatile solids (VS). In the effluent of the biodigesters, mean levels of TS were observed ranging between 1.6 and 2.0% and of VS between 1.2 and 1.6%. The mean reductions of TS were 57.7 to 64.7% and of VS from 61.7 to 69.0%, and there was only difference in the finishing phase, in which the major averages reductions were produced by the biodigesters supplied with feces from animals fed with diets based on corn. In biodigesters supplied with feces from animals in the initial and growing stages fed with diets based on corn, were observed higher average productions of biogas and the greatest average potentials of biogas production. The average potentials obtained were 0.033; 0.181; 0.685; 0.788 and 1.132 m³ per kg of affluent, manure, TS added, VS added and VS reduced, respectively. No differences were found on the average content of methane in the biogas between diets and stages. The average concentrations of nutrients N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu in the biodigester affluent and effluent, ranged between diets and stages.Objetivou-se avaliar a produção e a qualidade do biogás e do biofertilizante obtidos em biodigestores abastecidos com dejetos de suínos, nas fases inicial, crescimento e terminação, alimentados com dietas formuladas à base de milho ou sorgo. Foram utilizados 20 biodigestores de bancada, com tempo de retenção hidráulica de 30 dias, e cargas diárias que continham 4,0 a 6,0% de sólidos totais (ST) e 3,6 a 5,2% de sólidos voláteis (SV). Nos efluentes dos biodigestores, foram verificados teores médios de ST variando de 1,6 a 2,0% e de SV entre 1,2 e 1,6%. As reduções médias de ST foram de 57,7 a 64,7% e de SV de 61,7 a 69,0%, sendo que houve diferença somente na fase de terminação, na qual as maiores reduções médias foram para biodigestores abastecidos com dejetos de animais alimentados com dietas à base de milho. A metodologia consistiu na aplicação de ferramentas geotecnológicas associadas a banco de dados climáticos processados em ambiente SIG. As classes de aptidão para a cultura do melão foram obtidas pela combinação dos mapas de geomorfologia, pedologia, temperatura, precipitação e unidades ambientais de Mato Grosso. Os resultados demostraram que a maior concentração pluvial ocorre entre os decêndios 1 a 9, 30 e 36, com maior estiagem nos decêndios 16 a 24. As temperaturas médias anuais variaram de 22 ºC e 26 ºC com mínimas entre 14 ºC e 21 °C e máximas atingindo 30ºC a 33°C. O período ideal para a semeadura deve ocorrer a partir do decêndio 11, finalizando a semeadura no decêndio 22, para que a colheita ocorra antes da estação chuvosa. Os municípios que apresentaram uma maior janela de aptidão foram: Cáceres, Curvelândia, Glória D’Oeste, Lambari D’Oeste e Mirassol D’ Oeste. Concluiu-se que há municípios da região sudoeste de Mato Grosso que apresentam potencial para o cultivo do melão, podendo esta cultura constituir-se em uma das alternativas de geração de renda para a agricultura familiar. A B S T R A C T The objective of this study was to perform agro-climatic analysis applied to melon crop in Mato Grosso southwest region, to identify areas of suitability for growth of melons, generating subsidies that contribute to the production planning, in accordance with different times of year, and reduce risk in decision making planting. The methodology consisted in applying geotechnology tools associated with climatic database processed in SIG environment. Classes of suitability for the melon crop were obtained by combining the maps of geomorphology, pedology, temperature, rainfall and environmental units of Mato Grosso. Results demonstrated that most rain concentration occurs between the decendial 1 to 9, 30 and 36, with higher drought during periods from the decendial 16 to 24. Annual average temperatures ranges from 22 ºC to 26 ºC with minimum temperatures between 14 °C and 21 °C and maximum temperature reaching from 30 °C to 33 °C. The Ideal period for sowing should occur from the decendial 11, ending the sowing at the decendial 22, so the harvest must occur before the rainy season. The municipalities that had larger window of suitability were Cáceres, Curvelândia, Glória D' Oeste, Lambari D' Oeste and Mirassol D' Oeste. It is concluded that there are municipalities in southwest region of Mato Grosso that have potential for melon cultivation, and this could form themselves into one of the alternatives to generate income for the family farm. Para avaliar essa problemática, utilizaremos a análise de conteúdo, por ser um dos métodos mais eficientes para levantar informação, tendo como base os princípios gerais do jornalismo ambiental. We can relate the increase in the level of information on the environmental issue to responsible decision making on the adoption of measures necessary to reduce the exploitation of natural resources, since the indiscriminate exploitation of these resources has resulted in major climatic changes that occur through environmental catastrophes. In this sense, the social function of the journalist stands out, because of his democratizing office that makes information accessible and prizes for quality. In order to evaluate this problem, we will use content analysis as one of the most efficient methods to collect information, based on the general principles of environmental journalism. The method consists of the collection and analysis of journalistic texts published from September 2016 to March 2017 on environmental problems in Rio Grande do Sul in order to make inferences about their contents and formats by categorizing them into categories of analysis, seeking to contribute to the quality of environmental information.  KEYWORDS: Journalism; Environment; sustainability; sustainable development; Correio do Povo.     RESUMEN En este artículo presentamos un estudio sobre la cobertura periodística del diario on-line 'Correio do Povo', del Estado de Rio Grande do Sul, relacionadas con el medio ambiente, buscando evaluar si la prensa ha logrado informar eficientemente a los lectores sobre cuestiones ambientales y sus desdoblamientos Sur del país. Podemos relacionar el aumento en el nivel de información sobre la cuestión ambiental a la toma de decisión responsable sobre la adopción de medidas necesarias para disminuir la explotación de recursos naturales, ya que la explotación indiscriminada de esos recursos ha resultado en grandes cambios climáticos que se manifiestan por medio de catástrofes medioambientales. En ese sentido, se destaca la función social del periodista, en virtud de su oficio democratizador que hace la información accesible y aprecia por la calidad. Para evaluar esta problemática, utilizaremos el análisis de contenido, por ser uno de los métodos más eficientes para levantar información, teniendo como base los principios generales del periodismo ambiental. Este artigo aponta as precariedades encontradas na cobertura na categoria de análise da contextualização e aponta caminhos para qualificar o conteúdo informativo sobre a questão ambiental e suas vertentes em Santa Catarina.   PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Diário Catarinense; Jornalismo; Ciência; Meio ambiente.     ABSTRACT This article presents some of the results obtained in the research project 'Analysis of the coverage of environmental problems by the online newspaper Diário Catarinense ', developed within the scope of the Laboratory of Advanced Studies of Journalism in and on the Amazon (LABJAM) and whose objective was to analyze the coverage of the environmental problems of Santa Catarina by one of the state's main online newspapers. The study showed little contribution from the coverage so that informed decisions by residents of the capital of Santa Catarina regarding global climate change were made. Os principais problemas de uso indevido das terras se relacionam à fragilidade do material geológico e do recurso solo para uso em construções e agricultura urbana.The Brazilian cities have been facing problems due to the improper use of the urban space, mainly, related to the natural resources. In this case, the study of the dynamics of land use is important in the understanding of the processes occured in the urban environment. This research was aimed at analysing the space and temporal dynamics of land occupation in urban areas of Santa Maria - RS, Brazil, determining the conflicts of the land use through the Urban Land Use Potencial System (SAPUT), considering information from 1975 to 2002. The urban land use raised from 9% in 1975 to 33% in 2002. The conflicts of land use have increased from 19% in 1975, to 37% in 1995, reducing to 33% in 2002. The main problems of the improper land use are linked to the fragility of the geological material and soil resource when used for constructions and urban agriculture.
