Hierarchical analysis of existing problems at Honey Production the State of ParaíbaAbstract: Honey production is one of the productive activities that provide great opportunities for family farmers in the Northeast, providing economic and social development of those engaged in this activity. But it is an activity that represents some obstacles during production, generating losses and product unfit for consumption. Based on that, this research aims to analyze the existing problems in the honey production in the state of Paraiba. As for the methodological procedures, was initially done a literature review to identify problems of honey production reported in the literature, then semi-structured interviews were conducted with specialists working in Paraiba beekeeping and listed the problems encountered in the production of honey in the state. This list has been validated by the interviewees. For the ranking of the problems we used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The survey results show that among the steps of the production process maintenance is the step that has more impact in the process, and that the major problems existing in Paraiba beekeeping are the proximity of the apiary to livestock and horse, the lack of management of supers, lack of hygiene during honey processing process, lack of flowering calendar and the poor location of the apiary.</text>

A B S T R A C T The monitoring of the Cerrado and its natural resources is important for the preservation and conservation of biodiversity and the quality of life to the populations from Midwest Brazilion. Since in the last decades, it has undergone an intense process of land use change, with its forest cover being converted to anthropized areas. The aim of this study is to analyze the dynamics of the landscape during the last three decades in the Alto Rio Jardim Watershed (BHARJ), Administrative Region of Planaltina, Federal District. With approximately 10,500 Ha and predominant occupation oriented to agricultural activities, the basin is inserted in the Tabatinga Rural Nucleus, and stands out due to the production of grains. It is also a space for a diversified production of vegetables, fruits and livestock. Geotechnology tools were used as methodological procedures for the treatment and interpretation of the georeferenced data, allowing the multitemporal mapping of the years 1985, 2000, 2010, 2015. This methodology was complemented by the database of the “Ecoevaluation” and “Productive Transition and Environmental Services” Projects (Embrapa Cerrados), which allowed the spatialization and analysis of information related to the productive category and cultural aspects related to the origin of the families residing in the production units. It was possible to observe that the BHARJ is undergoing changes in the land use, with slight fall in the natural forest cover in the first years of analysis, and more intense transformation in the previous period to 1985, remaining close to the legal limit in the years after 2000. In this case, the most significant changes correspond to the conversion of pastures to annual crops by 2015.
