Hall Description An account of the resource Abstract The ongoing severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has triggered the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives worldwide. This virus spreads predominantly by human-to-human transmission via respiratory droplets. However, the presence of this virus in the fecal and anal swabs of infected patients has triggered the need for research into its waterborne transmission. The various environmental factors that impact the persistence of coronavirus in different water matrices include temperature, UV exposure, organic matter, disinfectants as well as adversarial microorganisms. This review summarizes the most recent research data on the effect of various factors on coronavirus in aqueous environments. The available data suggest that: (i) increasing temperature decreases the overall persistence of the virus; (ii) the presence of organic matter can increase the survivability of coronavirus; (iii) chlorine is the most effective and economic disinfectant; (iv) membrane bioreactors in wastewater treatment plants are hosts of competitive microorganisms that can inactivate coronaviruses; (v) ultraviolet irradiation is another effective option for virus inactivation. However, the inactivation disinfection kinetics of coronaviruses are yet to be fully understood. Thus, further research is needed to understand its fate and transport with respect to the water cycle so that effective strategies can be adopted to curb its effects. These strategies may vary based on geographic, climatic, technical, and social conditions around the globe. This paper explores possible approaches and especially the conditions that local communities and authorities should consider to find optimal solutions that can limit the spread of this virus. To examine research advances and critical gaps, a review of the literature on coastal urban ecology was performed. Articles were selected following a structured decision tree and data were classified into study disciplines, approaches, type of analysis, main research objectives, and Pickett's paradigms in-, of-, and for- the city, among other categories. From a total of 237 publications, results show that most of the research comes from the USA, China, and Australia, and has been carried out mostly in large cities with populations between 1 and 5 million people. Focus has been placed on ecological studies, spatial and quantitative analysis and pollution in coastal urban areas. Most of the studies on urban ecology in coastal zones were developed at nearshore terrestrial environments and only 22.36% included the marine ecosystem. Urban ecological studies in coastal areas have mainly been carried out under the paradigm in the city with a focus on the disciplines of biology and ecology. Results suggest a series of disciplinary, geographical, and approach biases which can present a number of risks. Foremost among these is a lack of knowledge on social dimensions which can impact on sustainability. The various aspects of the virus are still unknown. This study aims to introduce general aspects of the virus. This study is a narrative review that reviews the available literatures on the internet. Articles published from January 1, 2020 to March 3, 2020 were searched using the keywords COVID-19 and New Coronavirus 2019. The search was mainly conducted through PubMed and Google Scholar, using the keywords COVID-19 and New Coronavirus 2019. We also used Regular Google's search engine to gather news and background information. Prevalence, control, and prevention aspects of the disease were reviewed and presented. The study showed that the ways of transmitting the Covid 19 virus are through respiratory droplets and direct contact with the virus-containing secretions. The causes of the overwhelming prevalence of this disease can be attributed to its high incubation period and its transmission in the asymptomatic, mild, or pre-emergent periods. The study also found symptoms of the virus in people with chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, hypertension and chronic respiratory illnesses, and the risk of the virus increases with age and a definite cure has not been discovered yet. The results showed that the epidemic of the new virus will continue for three months and can be prevented by the methods of prevention and management of the factors influencing its transmission. Suggested ways to treat the disease are also being investigated. Currently, the only way to control Coronavirus 19 is to maintain personal hygiene, boost immunity system of body and avoid staying in crowded places. Several databases, including Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus, since 2019 to 2020 in addition to the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, National Health Service, and American Dental Association were reviewed through subject searching and used in the present study. Results: Studies have shown that the staff of dental centers similar to other health care workers is at high risk of getting COVID-19. The majority of published guidelines have emphasized the elimination of nonemergency measures and provision of remote counseling services to patients. In case of the need for an emergency visit, it is necessary to implement preventive measures, especially hand hygiene and protection measures, to prevent the spread of the virus through aerosol transmission. Conclusion: Due to the increasing prevalence of COVID-19, it is necessary to provide all dental staff with the essential information and training on prevention and control strategies based on scientific guidelines and standards. Remdesivir is a phosphoramidate prodrug of an adenosine C-nucleoside. By entrance into respiratory epithelial cells in human, the prodrug is metabolized to a nucleoside triphosphate as the active form. The nucleoside analog inhibits the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) by competing with the usual counterpart adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The nucleoside analog is incorporated into the generating RNA strand and causes a delayed stop in the viral replication process.
