O perfil dos 48 feirantes foi traçado por meio da aplicação de um questionário de entrevista estruturada. Conclui-se que o perfil dos produtores rurais que atuam na Feira do Produtor Rural “Antonio Alves Victor de Assis” são: predominantemente do sexo masculino, entre 41 e 60 anos, casados, com até 03 filhos. Possuem escolaridade até o ensino fundamental incompleto, reside na zona rural do município de Alegre, são donos das propriedades onde habitam e as mesmas tem até 20 ha, tem experiência de até 10 anos de feira, produzem grande diversidade de produtos e conquistam até 02 salários mínimos mensais na feira. Os resultados encontrados revelam a importância da Feira tanto no abastecimento interno municipal como na geração de renda, principalmente, de pequenos agricultores o que corrobora para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar local.
