Policies for family farm. Characteristics and trends of three programs in the province of Misiones

The main objective of this article is to analyze the main characteristics of three rural development programs for family farm in Misiones. The historical and thecurrent context of the province, regarding the configuration of public policies for family farm, make it a qualified reference for the study of the subject. The work is based on a qualitative methodology from two field trips to the province (2014 and 2015) that allowed to interview qualified informants and to access to documentary sources. It also resorted to the study of specific bibliography and available databases. As a result of the investigation, the paper addresses the similarities and differences between three public programs about the issues related to family farming in the province.
