              <text>O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar as transformações ocorridas no espaço agrário de Turvo, a partir da expansão das relações capitalistas de produção, focalizando as estratégias de reprodução familiar. A área em questão localiza-se no sul de Santa Catarina e tem sua base econômica fundamentada nas atividades agropecuárias, exploradas em pequenas propriedades fundiárias com mão-de-obra familiar. Com a difusão da modernização na agricultura, a base produtiva foi alterada e se desenvolveram atividades agrícolas especializadas para o suprimento do mercado, merecendo destaque o arroz irrigado (principal cultivo), fumo, frangos e suínos. Além disso, os produtores adotam estratégias múltiplas para se reproduzir. As tendências indicam a revitalização da diversificação das atividades agropecuárias, tanto para abastecer o mercado, quanto para o autoconsumo familiar.</text>
