              <text>O trabalho analisa a certificação na agricultura ecológica, a partir de um estudo sobre a Ecovida, rede de agroecologia que congrega diversos atores sociais no Sul do Brasil. Abordando de modo geral os diferentes sistemas de certificação, o estudo examina particularmente a certificação participativa no âmbito da Rede Ecovida. Ainda que a certificação participativa esteja relacionada aos dispositivos de poder das agências, instituições e organizações internacionais vinculadas à agricultura orgânica (não sendo, entretanto, efeito direto), o trabalho procura demonstrar como práticas locais na agroecologia podem ser inovadoras quando distintos atores sociais operam para criar selos de modo endógeno. Além do processo de certificação, o trabalho aborda o modo como são ressemantizadas as relações entre dádiva e mercadoria no interior da rede com a possibilidade de formação de circuitos de relações específicas, propiciando também a criação de uma comunidade imaginada.</text>
