              <text>Este artigo objetivou analisar a relação trabalho e educação profissional do campo, na perspectiva de compreender de que forma a formação técnico-profissional do Instituto Federal do Pará – Campus Marabá Rural tem contribuído com a Educação do Campo. Toma-se como referência o curso técnico em agropecuária integrado ao ensino médio ofertado em parceria com o movimento social e sindical através do Programa Nacional de Educação na Reforma Agrária (PRONERA) no período de 2009 a 2013. Parte desta abordagem integra a pesquisa de mestrado profissional, cuja metodologia referenciou-se no materialismo histórico-dialético, incluindo também a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, como procedimento. Os resultados da investigação apontaram o comprometimento da formação, materializado sob a perspectiva da Educação do Campo, com o projeto de desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar camponesa na região. A pesquisa apontou ainda uma nova de forma de produzir conhecimento, fundamentando a escola do campo na construção da nova matriz produtiva camponesa, colocando a concepção de educação profissional no plano da formação humana e não apenas da instrução.</text>
