The editorial comments about the application of Agromatic in the teaching-learning process of rural youth. This concept consists of the application of the principles and techniques of Informatics and Computation as an innovation factor for agricultural practices and is currently being incorporated into the teaching-learning process in Latin American countries. The insertion of Agromatic in the pedagogical context can increase the motivation of rural youth by empirically grounding the content taught in the subjects while developing digital skills for data access.
