ANALYSIS OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY OF THE FAMILY FARMERS AND YOUR COMPARISON WITH THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE PRONAF’S RESOURCES

This study aims to examine the technological efficiency of different Brazilian States, associated with the distribution of resources from PRONAF. The methodology is based on the factorial analysis, which enabled the definition of the Technology Index (TI), used to analyze the technological efficiency of the different Brazilian States. The results show that there is greater distribution of the resources of the PRONAF for farmers in units of the federation which have greater technological efficiency, which signals the need for redistribution of resources program for producers of the vast majority of States, which has low efficiency technology.
