Editorial|Pandemic, family farming and Information and Communication Technology: research trends

This editorial highlights the role of science in the pandemic scenario of COVID-19, with special emphasis on research questions that may arise from the developments caused by the increased use of Information and Communication Technologies by small producers, a since this becomes the main platform to digitize the commercialization of its production, allowing to follow the new dynamics of demand for agricultural products and adapting to the protocols to face the pandemic. Finally, the editorial also comments on the conceptual structure adopted to organize the articles published in this edition, highlighting the main elements that make up each of the three conceptual dimensions observed.
