A metodologia baseou-se numa pesquisa exploratória. Os dados são primários obtidos através de um questionário direcionado aos agricultores de Ibicaraí. Foi analisado o perfil dos agricultores e realizada uma análise econômica por meio dos indicadores lucratividade, rentabilidade e tempo de retorno do capital investido. Com base nos resultados constatou-se que houve redução da lucratividade, aumento da rentabilidade dos agricultores, redução do tempo de retorno do capital investido, melhoria no preço dos produtos e o sistema tecnológico permaneceu o mesmo para a maioria dos agricultores. Concluiu-se que o PAA teve resultados econômicos favoráveis para os agricultores de Ibicaraí.
