Uno de losaspectos en los que se centrará el análisis refiere al carácter reificado de lasmetáforas, es decir, al “olvido” de su propio carácter metafórico, tratandode reconocer algunas de las principales implicancias que dicha reificaciónconlleva al seno de la práctica científica. De este modo, este trabajo muestraque las metáforas presentes en la actividad científica no sólo cumplen rolesimportantes en el modo de hablar y comunicar en la ciencia, sino tambiénen la propia conformación y conservación de (nuevas) ontologías mediantelos procesos de reificación metafórica.
