La emergencia de los bosques como problema ambiental en la historia argentina Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource María Paula Avila Castro Description An account of the resource En este artículo indagamos acerca de las condiciones por medio de las cuales el bosque nativo se configuró en Córdoba, Argentina, como objeto de diversos saberes que en la actualidad podemos relacionar con la ecología, desde el período colonial, pero sobre todo entre mediados del siglo XIX y fines del XX, a partir del análisis de tres modulaciones discursivas: 1) el bosque como objeto de exploración, 2) el bosque como objeto de cuantificación y 3) el bosque como objeto de protección. El problema de los bosques no siempre fue ambiental, aunque estuvo presente desde larga data como cuestión de relevancia social y política, y fue modelado por una tradición científico-técnica que decantó a inicios del siglo XXI en la necesidad de una ley de ordenamiento territorial de los boques nativos argentinos. Para el análisis construimos un corpus documental integrado por bibliografía vinculada a la historia de las ciencias naturales, la biología y la ciencia forestal en Córdoba y Argentina.
