Para ello se tomó una muestra 89 participantes que asistieron a la competencia SINCHI WAMI 2.0. Los métodos y técnicas de investigación que se utilizaron fueron la revisión bibliográfica, encuesta, observación y la estadística descriptiva. Se da a conocer los principales resultados sobre la práctica del ciclismo de montaña a través de las dimensiones social, económica y ambiental del turismo sostenible obtenidos en la competencia. Se concluye que la relación entre el turismo sostenible con el ciclismo de montaña se establece a partir de la incidencia favorable en las tres dimensiones, mediante la ejecución de competencias, travesías y ciclopaseos turísticos.
