This work reports the assessments of corrosion measurement on steel, galvanized steel, copper and aluminum in the case of outdoor atmospheric corrosion, and steel, tin and copper indoor atmospheric corrosion. The test stations are located in the cities of Quito and Esmeraldas. Additionally, assays were performed using ISO and ASTM standards. Main results show that corrosivity levels are higher in Esmeraldas (particularly indoors corrosion) due to the presence of pollution sources such as refinery and the thermoelectric stations located in that area. Furthermore, in Esmeraldas the influence of the sea is not significant due to the distance and location of the test stations.</text>
