Entre 1924 y 1954, un periodo que va desde el momento de consolidación del régimen posrevolucionario hasta el surgimiento del llamado “milagro mexicano”, Khankhoje se desempeñó como maestro de la Escuela Nacional de Agricultura, científico genetista, director de las Escuelas Libres de Agricultura, técnico y asesor del gobierno federal y distintos gobiernos estatales, y empleado del naciente sector agro-industrial en el país. El artículo argumenta que el estudio de su paso por México nos ofrece importantes pistas para entender el tránsito ideológico, institucional y científico que caracterizó el paso del agrarismo a la agroindustria durante aquellos años y que facilitó el inicio en nuestro país de la llamada Revolución Verde.
