Se describe primero la fundamentación teórica y posteriormente se describe paso a paso el método, cuyo uso fue motivado por la posibilidad de disminuir las dificultades actuales para medir la competitividad de una empresa: necesidad de niveles altos de información de los competidores y la multiplicidad de componentes a calificar en los rankings actuales. Desde una metodología analítico-descriptiva se presentan resultados, cuyo origen requirió análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo, y las conclusiones comparadas validan el modelo en el contexto estudiado y su nivel de replicabilidad a otras empresas del sector.
