En particular, se analizan las respuestas de este Grupo, líder en la producción de palma de aceite orgánico en el mundo, para reivindicar su legitimidad cuestionada internacionalmente a raíz de este conflicto. Después de describir el perfil del Grupo Daabon, y el contexto local en el que opera, se formulan algunas reflexiones en torno al manejo que este grupo empresarial le dio a temas relacionados con desplazamiento forzado, inseguridad jurídica y biodiversidad.
