“Strange Coupling”: Vegan Ecofeminism and Queer Ecologies in Theory and in Practice CHAPTER 1: A Brief Survey of the Field of Ecofeminism

The present paper is the first in a series of publications that aim to share the results of an ongoing research project that explores the interconnection possibilities, both in theory and application, of the fields of ecofeminism and queer ecologies. This particular chapter offers a brief survey of the first of these fields: ecofeminism. The author tries to provide a brief critical look into the main tenets and evolution of the field.    Este artículo es el primero en una serie de publicaciones que busca socializar los resultados de un proyecto de investigación en curso, el cual explora las posibilidades de interconexión (tanto en la teoría como en su aplicación) de los campos del ecofeminismo y las ecologías queer. Este capítulo en particular ofrece una vista panorámica del primero de estos campos: el ecofeminismo. La autora presenta una perspectiva corta y crítica de las principales propuestas y de la evolución del campo.
