La reducción de la vulnerabilidad de los sistemas de producción agropecuaria se da mediante la implementación de tecnologías que tengan en cuenta la combinación de factores productivos, sociales, económicos y ambientales. El cultivo de mango (Mangifera indica L.) (variedades Tommy, Keitt, Hilacha) es de gran importancia y tradición en el municipio de Anapoima, Colombia. Se realizó un análisis de la vulnerabilidad del sistema de mango a eventos de déficit hídrico a partir de las condiciones productivas del cultivo y socioeconómicas de los productores. Se presenta una moderada sensibilidad del cultivo y baja capacidad de adaptación de los productores ante un escenario de déficit hídrico. Las tecnologías que podrían reducir la vulnerabilidad son prácticas de inducción floral, fertilización y manejo fitosanitario, las cuales son complementarias y deberían ser implementadas de manera conjunta. Para tal fin se podrá acceder a crédito y establecer y fortalecer estrategias para la captación y conservación de fuentes hídricas que permitan el acceso al recurso agua.
