Several kind of languages (printed, audio, images), different signs. In television news, the narrative uses codes to build speeches that could generate collective sensations derived from reports. This article aims to identify elements that could be interpreted as generators of fear derived from information submitted in television report. The subject on the agenda are climate change and the report that serves as an object of study was presented at the Jornal Nacional, Rede Globo, in October 2015.
