No jornalismo televisivo, a narrativa utiliza códigos para construir discursos que podem gerar sensações coletivas derivadas das reportagens. O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar elementos que podem ser interpretados como geradores de medo derivado a partir de informações apresentadas em reportagem televisiva. O assunto em pauta são as mudanças climáticas e a reportagem que serve como objeto de estudo foi apresentada no Jornal Nacional da Rede Globo em outubro de 2015. Busca empregar a relação triádica de Peirce: representamen – objeto - interpretante.     PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Narrativas jornalísticas; Signos; Mudanças climáticas; Medo.        ABSTRACT    We perceive, observe and interpret texts daily. Several kind of languages (printed, audio, images), different signs. In television news, the narrative uses codes to build speeches that could generate collective sensations derived from reports. This article aims to identify elements that could be interpreted as generators of fear derived from information submitted in television report. The subject on the agenda are climate change and the report that serves as an object of study was presented at the Jornal Nacional, Rede Globo, in October 2015. Varios tipos de idiomas (impreso, audio, imágenes), diferentes signos. En las noticias de televisión, la narrativa usa códigos para construir discursos que podrían generar sensaciones colectivas derivadas de los informes. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar los elementos que podrían interpretarse como generadores de miedo derivados de la información presentada en el informe de televisión. El tema de la agenda es el cambio climático y el informe que sirve como objeto de estudio fue presentado en el Jornal Nacional, Rede Globo, en octubre de 2015.
