La gestión de recursos hídricos tiene que ver con el manejo eficiente, equitativo y sostenible del agua, que es cada vez más escasa, y a su vez con creciente demanda. Uno de los problemas que está afectando la disponibilidad de recursos hídricos es el cambio climático. Este es un fenómeno inminente, y cada vez más sus efectos van generando impactos significativos que afectan directamente el recurso hídrico. En el caso del Municipio de Santa Fe, cuenca del río Santa María, existe abundancia del recurso hídrico, pero a la vez una demanda creciente y muchas amenazas por parte del área industrial. Este trabajo se enfoca en estudiar, desde la perspectiva de los principales actores comunitarios, la gestión de recursos hídricos en Santa Fe, con el fin de conocer la capacidad adaptativa de esta comunidad ante las amenazas del cambio climático.
