En este artículo se analizan los beneficios e inconvenientes del uso de los agrocombustibles en Colombia, considerando un marco integral que incluye impactos ambientales, sociales y económicos. Se concluye que los beneficios fiscales que recibe el Estado por los agrocombustibles no corresponden con los costos de oportunidad que paga la sociedad en inversión social y deterioro ambiental.
