As amostragens foram realizadas semanalmente, usando armadilhas “pitfall” com água e detergente. As amostras foram coletadas 48 horas após a instalação das armadilhas e levadas ao laboratório para triagem. Os espécimes capturados totalizaram 30.682 indivíduos, classificados em 7 classes e 18 ordens. As espécies de constância “acidental” predominaram. Colêmbolos e formigas predadoras apresentaram as maiores frequências de captura. Os coeficientes de correlação expressos entre grupos de artrópodes edáficos sugerem a existência de interações tróficas.
