El  mismo, se enmarcó bajo el paradigma positivista, en la modalidad de proyecto especial e inserto en la línea de investigación “estrategias, recursos e innovaciones pedagógicas en educación técnica”. Los objetivos fueron desde diagnosticar y diseñar el programa hasta llegar a su validación. Los sujetos de investigación, lo conformaron dieciséis (16) docentes, a los que se les suministró un cuestionario para la recolección de los datos con la técnica de la encuesta y analizándose por medio de la estadística descriptiva, generando así las conclusiones sobre la existencia de condiciones favorables a nivel conceptual y programático para el diseño del programa referido; generando una herramienta didáctica para a una futura propuesta curricular sobre Agroecología a ser impartida en la Carrera de Educación Agropecuaria.
