Se evaluaron cuatro tratamientos con cuatro repeticiones, utilizando un diseño experimental en bloques completamente al azar. Las variables evaluadas fueron Rendimiento KgHa-1, Materia Seca, Proteína Cruda y Fibra. Se encontró que las variables respondieron favorablemente a la dosis de 100 KgHa-1 dando los siguientes resultados, para Rendimiento KgHa-1: 5,170.46 a los 30 días, Proteína cruda: 14.43% a los 30 días, FDA: 31.37% a los 30 días. Con los datos obtenidos en el estudio, se muestra que la fertilización nitrogenada tiene un efecto sobre el rendimiento y composición nutricional sobre el pasto Brachíaria híbrido cv CIAT BR02/1794, y el nivel de fertilización con la más alta relación beneficio/costo (1.40 Lps) fue el de 100 KgHa-1 .
