En donde se determinó la descripción de la planta, utilización, composición nutricional, manejo agronómico y rendimiento del cultivo. Se utilizó una revisión de bibliografía especialistas en el área bajo estudio. Encontrando que esta especie es un arbusto forraje originario de Asia, contiene de 15-28% de proteína bruta y 75 a 90% digestibilidad in vitro de la materia seca, es utilizada como alimento para el gusano de seda y de forraje para rumiantes; el rendimiento de forraje alcanza hasta las 40 ton/ha al año en materia fresca con un 25% de materia seca. La implementación de la morera en la alimentación bovina es económico, rentable y sostenible, debido a que no es necesario para el productor suplir alimento con concentrado ya que este eleva los costos de producción en carne o leche.
