Diante disto, objetivou-se avaliar o Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável (DRS) na AFC, tendo como amostra produtores rurais premiados no município de Marechal Cândido Rondon, Paraná. Identificou-se que tais produtores possuem bons indicadores de DRS e que os indicadores: assistência técnica, rentabilidade, sucessão familiar e dependência de recursos de outras atividades mostraram-se discrepantes dos resultados de estudos com a AFS.
