Vanderputten Description An account of the resource En el presente proyecto se realizó la aplicación de producción más limpia en  el proceso de embotellado de una industria cervecera ecuatoriana en lo que se refiere a la disminución y recuperación de los efluentes líquidos posibles para lograr un ahorro de agua general y agua residual tratada, al tomar en cuenta el grado de contaminación que traen consigo estos efluentes líquidos. El trabajo preliminar consistió en la realización de un diagrama de flujo para cada línea de producción, en el cual se indica la salida de cada uno de los efluentes líquidos que se generan en el proceso de embotellado para posteriormente determinar la composición y volumen de descarga mediante análisis físico-químicos de acuerdo a los “Métodos Normalizados para el Análisis  de Aguas Potables y Residuales, APHA, AWWA, WPCF”. Una vez conocidos los parámetros de contaminación de cada efluente líquido se escogió cuáles pueden ser recuperados y reutilizados. Se proponen 2 sistemas para la recuperación y reutilización de los efluentes líquidos escogidos. Con el sistema propuesto de recuperación y reutilización, la empresa ahorra 228965.76 HL /año de agua general, 272332.80 HL /año de agua residual tratada, con un beneficio económico de 8069.97 USD/año. La inversión requerida para la instalación del sistema de recuperación y reutilización es  13828.20 USD, la cual se la recupera a los  2.22 años, siendo el valor del TIR  de  42.28% y del VAN 15423.25 USD, para un tiempo de vida útil de 5 años.   In the present project was the implementation of cleaner production in the bottling process an Ecuadorian brewery regard to the decline and recovery of liquid effluents possible to achieve overall water savings and treated wastewater to take into account the degree of pollution they bring these liquid effluents. Preliminary work was to conduct a flow diagram for each production line, which indicates the output of each of the liquid effluents generated in the bottling process for subsequently determining the composition and volume of discharge through physico-chemical analysis according to 'Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, APHA, AWWA, WPCF'. Once known pollution parameters of each liquid effluent was chosen which can be recovered and reused. We propose two systems for the recovery and reuse of liquid effluents chosen. With the proposed system recovery and reuse, the company saves 228965.76 HL / year of water generally 272332.80 HL / year of treated wastewater, with a profit of 8069.97 USD / year.
