The measures taken by some states such as: closing the borders, prohibiting exports of some products (medical masks, disinfectants, etc.), suspending the activity of some economic agents, directly affect entire sectors of the national economy, respectively the economic agents are required to take some measures which could affect competition for a limited period of time, but the effects can be lasting. Respectively, this article contains an analysis of the measures announced by the competition authorities of different states regarding the application of the competition rules in the pandemic situation.
